There is a glitch in Warzone where the long range scopes on weapons don’t show anything but a bright white target. Luckily, a few fans have thought up a quick fix for this broken sight bug.

The integration with Black Ops Cold War brought a plethora of new content to Call of Duty: Warzone. Now, fans of the battle royale have access to a wider assortment of weaponry, along with new creative loadouts.

However, Warzone players have also run into a variety of different bugs, such as broken weapons and disappearing skins. One issue causes a long range scope to break while you’re using it, making it impossible to see anything through it.

You can face this glitch while using any weapon that has a long range scope on. Luckily, a few players have come up with a quick solution to this annoying problem, and all you need to rely on is your secondary weapon.

Reddit user Fake_Plastic_Peace posted the fix in the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit. Here’s what you need to do if you encounter this glitch:

  1. Switch to your secondary weapon
  2. Take a few shots and reload
  3. Switch back to your scoped primary weapon to fix the glitch

It’s as simple as that. You just need to switch to your secondary weapon, and then back to the primary one in order to make your scope go back to normal.

Of course, you need to keep in mind that this is only a temporary solution, and you can still encounter this glitch again while playing a match. That said, it’s still relieving to know that there’s a quick fix that you can apply when things go wrong.

Warzone players have also been experiencing other bugs when using weapons that have scopes on them. Those who play on a Xbox Series X/S or PS5 will sometimes have their reticle flip upside down while zooming in.

While the Warzone Trello board shows that glitch being investigated, we haven’t seen anything there about the broken scope. Hopefully, the devs will notice the problem, and apply a fix for it soon.
