How to free-roam Cayo Perico in GTA Online

You can use a trick in Grand Theft Auto Online in order to free-roam around the Cayo Perico island with your buddies.

There is a trick that you can use in Grand Theft Auto Online to free-roam around Cayo Perico with your friends. It involves owning a Motorcycle club or becoming CEO of a business.

The Cayo Perico Heist went live in GTA Online on December 14, and it has brought a plethora of new content to the game such as weapons, missions, vehicles, and even a cool nightclub. This is GTA V’s first map expansion so you may want to explore the new island.

The bad news is you don’t have much freedom in what you can do in this new location so you’re out of luck if you intend to purchase a home there, and gun down NPCs. You’ll mostly be battling armed guards during your time there.

Despite this, a few players have discovered a neat trick that lets you and your friends free roam around the island without coming under fire from the patrolling grunts.

How to free roam in Cayo Perico

This trick was discovered by Reddit user MrBossFTL3822, and it involves you becoming either the owner of a Motorcycle Club or the CEO of a business. You do it fairly quickly, and then enjoy exploring the island with your buddies.

Here’s how you can free roam Cayo Perico in GTA Online:

  1. Complete the Cayo Perico ‘Scope Out’ mission
  2. Start it again, and go to Los Santos airport
  3. Approach the yellow mission marker and then request a CEO or MC job
  4. Enter the marker and request a job as the cutscene starts
  5. Request a contact job after spawning at Cayo Perico
  6. Quit it and make your way to the beach party to enter free roam

That’s all you have to do to enter free roam. This will trick the game into thinking that you’re just partying at the beach, and you can enjoy exploring the island with your friends without the guards attacking.

Unfortunately, you can’t attack the guards while you’re in free roam as they will enter a God mode. There’s no point to emptying your clips into them as it will not deal any damage, and you’re better off just enjoying your exploration of the island.

There a ton of fun activities that you can enjoy with your friends when free-roaming Cayo Perico, such as finding easter eggs. So far there’s no way to use this trick to exploit the heist itself, so Rockstar probably won’t get rid of it any time soon.

The Cayo Perico Heist is the biggest GTA Online event that we’ve seen so far. There’s still a ton of new content to be discovered in it, and we’ll keep you updated as we learn more.

GTA The Trilogy: Definitive Edition is set to release in 2021 across consoles and PC, and the minimum and recommended PC requirements have reportedly leaked, revealing the game to be more demanding than GTA V.

After months of leaks and rumors, Rockstar Games officially announced the GTA The Trilogy: Definitive Edition.

This remaster of Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas will hit consoles and PC this year.

Ahead of its listing on Steam, notable leaker alloc8or has leaked the minimum and recommended PC requirements. These GTA Trilogy PC requirements were shared by gaming news account Okami Games, who noticed that they’re higher than GTA Vs.

GTA Trilogy minimum PC requirements

As pointed out by Okami Games, the GTA Trilogy’s leaked PC requirements are higher than GTA V’s. Of course, GTA V’s PC edition is over six years old, and hardware has improved a ton in that time. But, it gives an indication of the kind of improvements the game will see.

However, the reported minimum specs aren’t too taxing, but you’ll still need a reasonably modern rig to achieve a stable and playable frame rate.

  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2700K / AMD FX-6300
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Storage Space: 45 GB

GTA Trilogy recommended PC requirements

Of course, the GTA Trilogies recommended PC requirements are higher than the minimum. Rockstar will reportedly recommend 16 GB of RAM, which is quite the climb from the minimum 8.

And of course, you’ll need a more powerful GPU and CPU to run at the recommended settings, with you needing either a GTX 970 or an RX 570.

  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-6600K / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB / AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Storage Space: 45 GB

Of course, the PC version will allow you to tinker with graphics settings to find the perfect combination of performance and visuals.

These PC requirements aren’t official, and they are subject to change, so you may find Rockstar’s own listing may be different from this early leak.

Hilarious FIFA 22 Ultimate Team glitch sends Kimpembe to space

One FIFA 22 Ultimate Team player experienced a bizarre glitch that sent Kimpembe rocketing towards the sky during a game.

A FIFA 22 Ultimate Team’s Division Rivals game took an unexpected turn when one team’s Kimpembe took part in a duel for the ball and was sent packing to space because of a strange glitch.

The stress of FIFA 22’s Ultimate Team game mode cannot be understated, with Division Rivals and FUT Champs proving to be a stern test.

However, one player encountered an odd glitch that played havoc with their Kimpembe.

One of the game’s best defenders, Presnel Kimpembe, is a strong beast of a centre-back, and yet one duel with an opposition striker hilariously affected his gravity.

One of the most critical aspects of FIFA 22 Ultimate Team is defending. It doesn’t matter how potent your strikers or wingers are, world-class defenders with defending to back up their reputation are paramount to success.

This is why Kimpembe is one of the game’s best options as he’s very quick, strong, great in the air and on the ground, and his French nationality can lead to some genuinely great hybrid teams.

But nowhere on his card does it say that he has an aversion to one-on-one duels, as Iamabigdinosuar found out. Their defense was left agonizingly exposed after their Kimpembe cannoned off of the opponent’s Timo Werner, ragdolling like a rocket into the sky.

Any savvy football fan will know that Timo Werner is not the most physically imposing figure in the world, especially compared to Kimpembe.

So we think it’s fair to attribute this incident to an isolated and hilarious FIFA 22 Ultimate Team glitch that isn’t going to happen too often but will no doubt inspire plenty of laughter from players who experience this out-of-the-world glitch.

The FUT Champions Weekend League is the mode where the players compete for the top prizes that FIFA 22 Ultimate Team has to offer. This year, EA has made some significant changes to how it works.

If you’re looking for the absolute best rewards on offer in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team to help build your perfect squad, then FUT Champions is the place to be.

FUT Champs is Ultimate Team’s elite mode, where players compete to earn coins, packs, and TOTW cards.

For FIFA 22, EA has shaken up the structure of how the mode will work. So we’ve broken it all down for you right here.

Champions Play-Offs

In previous years, players would earn qualification points when playing Division Rivals, which could be redeemed for entry to the Weekend League. This year, the whole process works slightly differently.

Now, playing Division Rivals earns Champions Qualification Points, which automatically secures your entry into the Play-Offs when you have enough.

Once in the Play-Offs, fans battle their way through a set number of matches at their leisure. At the end of the games, rewards will be unlocked based on how many points they’ve earned for winning or losing.

If you earn a certain number of points, you’ll also be granted a Finals Qualification Token. This can be used to play in the Champions Finals weekend of your choice.

Champions Finals

The Finals will be familiar to those who played FIFA 21, although EA has made a few tweaks to how the mode will operate.

Champions Finals takes place at the weekend, with players having 20 matches to earn as many points a possible. Four points will be awarded for a win and one for a defeat.

The number of points accumulated places you in one of six ranks, each giving out rewards such as packs, coins, and player picks.

In a drastic change from the previous year, rewards can be redeemed after all 20 matches are completed, or the Champions Finals event ends.

FUT Champions tips

FIFA 22 FUT Champs attracts the very players, so you’re going to need to bring your a-game if you want to grab the best rewards.

That being said, even the lower ranks are worth playing for when you consider how easy they are to achieve – especially Rank 5, which only requires you to play and lose all 20 games.

With this in mind, we’ve put together some tips for how to make the most of your FUT Champions Finals weekend.

Have a warm-up game

If you go into FUT Champions for your first game of the day, chances are you won’t be playing to the best of your ability.

We advise you to drop into a Division Rivals game or play a Squad Battle on a high difficulty to get yourself in the mood for a long slog.

It won’t guarantee you a great weekend, but it will dust off those cobwebs and give you the best possible chance.

Set up your Custom Tactics

Custom Tactics are used by many players to switch to their preferred formation in-game, but it’s easy to forget to make full use of every slot.

You have four different tactic options, from Ultra Defensive up to All-Out-Attack, so we recommend you adjust each one to cope with varying sets of circumstances.

Make sure you have a five-at-the-back formation for when you have to desperately defend a lead, as well as a formation to flood the box if you’re trailing in the last few minutes.

Check out our formations guide for a more in-depth look at how to tackle each one.

Custom Tactics in FIFA 22

Don’t be afraid to quit

You still earn one point for a loss in FUT Champions, so you don’t leave any match empty-handed.

With 20 high-pressure games to get through, it doesn’t make sense to stay in games when there is no chance of you winning.

Sometimes you are matched against a better player, so if you ship a boatload of goals in early on, quit the match, take your point, and move on to the next one.

Every opponent has a different style of play to the last, meaning that sometimes the players in your starting XI might not be effective against the team you’re facing.

That’s why it’s crucial to have a diverse set of substitutes that offer something different and can turn a game on its head.

For example, if you play with a target man up front, have someone pacey on the bench so you can switch things up if you need to.

It’s also worth thinking about the players in your team with poor stamina and line up replacements for when they begin to tire.

Take a break

The pressure of having to earn a certain amount of points can make FUT Champs an extremely stressful mode, and it’s easy to get stuck in a rut.

If you lose a few games on the spin, rather than using up your limited matches trying to rediscover your form, take a break from FIFA altogether and do something else.

After some time away, come back refreshed and ready to take the weekend by storm.

That was everything you need to know about how the FUT Champions Weekend League works in this year’s FIFA.
