How to free-roam Cayo Perico in GTA Online

You can use a trick in Grand Theft Auto Online in order to free-roam around the Cayo Perico island with your buddies.

There is a trick that you can use in Grand Theft Auto Online to free-roam around Cayo Perico with your friends. It involves owning a Motorcycle club or becoming CEO of a business.

The Cayo Perico Heist went live in GTA Online on December 14, and it has brought a plethora of new content to the game such as weapons, missions, vehicles, and even a cool nightclub. This is GTA V’s first map expansion so you may want to explore the new island.

The bad news is you don’t have much freedom in what you can do in this new location so you’re out of luck if you intend to purchase a home there, and gun down NPCs. You’ll mostly be battling armed guards during your time there.

Despite this, a few players have discovered a neat trick that lets you and your friends free roam around the island without coming under fire from the patrolling grunts.

How to free roam in Cayo Perico

This trick was discovered by Reddit user MrBossFTL3822, and it involves you becoming either the owner of a Motorcycle Club or the CEO of a business. You do it fairly quickly, and then enjoy exploring the island with your buddies.

Here’s how you can free roam Cayo Perico in GTA Online:

  1. Complete the Cayo Perico ‘Scope Out’ mission
  2. Start it again, and go to Los Santos airport
  3. Approach the yellow mission marker and then request a CEO or MC job
  4. Enter the marker and request a job as the cutscene starts
  5. Request a contact job after spawning at Cayo Perico
  6. Quit it and make your way to the beach party to enter free roam

That’s all you have to do to enter free roam. This will trick the game into thinking that you’re just partying at the beach, and you can enjoy exploring the island with your friends without the guards attacking.

Unfortunately, you can’t attack the guards while you’re in free roam as they will enter a God mode. There’s no point to emptying your clips into them as it will not deal any damage, and you’re better off just enjoying your exploration of the island.

There a ton of fun activities that you can enjoy with your friends when free-roaming Cayo Perico, such as finding easter eggs. So far there’s no way to use this trick to exploit the heist itself, so Rockstar probably won’t get rid of it any time soon.

The Cayo Perico Heist is the biggest GTA Online event that we’ve seen so far. There’s still a ton of new content to be discovered in it, and we’ll keep you updated as we learn more.

Fortnite Season 7 wiretrap

Fortnite Season 7’s Week 8 Quests task players with planting wiretraps at three key locations, so here’s how to do it.

Every week, Epic Games release a batch of Legendary and Epic Quests to allow players to earn a ton of XP. By completing these every week, you’ll have no trouble earning Battle Stars and finishing the Season 7 Battle Pass.

With the arrival of the 17.21 update, we’re now in Week 8, and players are tasked with planting three wiretraps at key locations. Here’s how to plant the wiretraps, and all of the key locations that you can plant them.

Fortnite Season 7 wiretrap locations

There are clusters of wiretraps in five key locations on the Fortnite Season 7 map. Inside each of these POIs are three wiretraps, so with a bit of luck, you should only have to visit one of the locations.

The wiretraps will be marked by a transparent blue box. Simply approach it and press the interact button and the wiretrap will be placed. Do this twice more, and you’ll get 30,000 XP.

You can find wiretraps in these locations:

  1. Dinky Dish
  2. Dockside Dish
  3. Defiant Dish
  4. Eastern house in Lazy Lake
  5. Tunnel east of Catty Corner

Confirmed buffs & nerfs in Apex Legends Season 10

Here are all the various different buffs and nerfs that Respawn have confirmed for Apex Legends Season 10.

Apex Legends roster

Apex Legends Emergence is almost here, and there will be a ton of changes when the new update goes live, including various balancing changes to Legends. Here’s every buff and nerf in Season 10.

Respawn apply buffs and nerfs to certain characters so that Apex Legends still feels fresh after a new update drops. They also keep fans posted on their progress through community updates.

Some of these changes are welcomed, specifically those for Legends that have been underperforming or are considered overpowered. Other balance updates can be points of controversy.

Here’s every known buff and nerf coming in Apex Legends Season 10.

Confirmed Apex Legends buffs and nerfs for Season 10

Caustic: Buff

One of the more prominent changes in the new season of Apex Legends will be to Caustic’s gas. The damage per tick will no longer be locked, and will now increase every 2 seconds.

However, the Season 10 update will also have an adverse effect on the gas cloud from his toxic fumes. The buff will cause it to dissipate five seconds faster.

Crypto: Buff

While we don’t know exactly what changes Respawn is planning for Crypto, they’ve made it abundantly clear that they want to improve his popularity. Live balance designer John Larson talked about his low pick rate.

“When assessing how to make him a bit sexier, I think streamlining the flow between Crypto mode and drone mode, and maybe distributing that power in a more healthy way so it’s not quite as binary, would be a nice way of approaching that,” the developer said.

It’s unclear whether these changes will take place right at the start of Season 10, or if Crypto will get buffs in the mid-season update.

Fuse: Buff

The developers have confirmed that Fuse will be getting a buff to both his Tactical and his Ultimate abilities. The Knuckle Cluster Tactical’s duration has been doubled, letting the Legend dish out pain longer.

Enemies that are hit by the Motherlode Ultimate will now be highlighted, and they will remain visible even if they’re taking cover.

Horizon: Buff

Horizon received a movement speed nerf when using the Gravity Lift, and this ended up being one of her biggest weak points. Now, the developers are reverting this change but not completely to its pre-nerf state.

This means that you’ll be much more mobile when using Horizon’s Gravity Lift ability in combat.

Rampart: Buff (mid-season)

When Season 10 goes live, one of Rampart’s inventions will become available as a weapon in the form of the Rampage LMG. The Legender herself will also be receiving a buff, but developers have said this will be later on.

Respawn will continue their development and tests on this balancing update, and they haven’t revealed what exactly it will be for. It will probably be related to her Ultimate ability.

Revenant: Nerf

Revenant already received a major buff as part of the Genesis Collection event. Now, the developers are planning to introduce a few more changes to make the Legend easier to play against.

Season 10 will add a visual and audio indicator to let enemies know when Revenant’s death protection is about to end. This nerf will give opponents a fair chance to react quickly.

Wattson: Buff & Nerf

Wattson Apex Legends

Wattson already comes with a fairly high win rate, so buffing her can be tricky. She’ll still be receiving a buff in Season 10, but this will be followed by a buff later on to keep things balanced.

Her buff will focus on making her more fun to play, while the nerf will probably be to her hitbox, according to live balance designer John Larson.

Those are all the confirmed buffs and nerfs dropping in Season 10, either at launch or in the mid-season update. Also, check out when Apex Legends Season 10 is going to start.

Apex Legends devs drop major clue about next Heirloom

The next Apex Legends Heirloom has been hinted at by a Respawn Entertainment dev, along with talk of new buffs to the roster.

Ahead of the launch of Apex Legends Season 10, we may already have a sneaky suspicion about who’s getting the next Heirloom, thanks to a Respawn dev.

Juggling an entire roster of Legends is an unenviable task that Respawn Entertainment has to keep on top of. This means buffing Legends that aren’t meta and aren’t considered strong enough to win with, and nerfing Legends that are overused to the point of saturation.

To keep everyone fresh, another exciting thing that fans look forward to is the next Apex Heirloom. If you aren’t aware, Heirlooms are incredibly rare cosmetic items for a Legend that require 150 Heirloom Shards to get.

One of the Respawn devs has suggested that they might follow an earlier method of buffing a Legend and accompanying this enhancement with an Heirloom.

apex legends seer legend

With confirmed map changes coming in Apex Legends Season 10 and all-manner of new content, Season 10 is shaping up to be a big one.

The battle royale game is adding Seer as a new Legend, taking the game’s total count up to 18. As it stands, eight of them (nine including Seer) don’t have an Heirloom.

But thanks to Respawn’s Lead Game Designer Daniel Klein, we may have an idea of what to expect going forward.

A previous Legend was on the receiving end of a buff and Heirloom joint update as both changes were ready to go at the same time. Daniel has hinted that the same thing could be happening again very soon.

If we were to properly analyze the current meta and the status of each Legend, it becomes a bit more clear that Crypto, Loba, and Wattson are possible contenders for this double-whammy.

That being said, this is pure speculation on our part, and we shall await confirmation from Respawn Entertainment about which Legend will get the special treatment.

Also, check out when Apex Legends Season 10 is going to start.
