Valkyrie with Heirloom in Apex Legends

Heirlooms are one of the most prestigious items in Apex Legends, with the odds of finding one in a pack extremely low. However, thanks to changes in Season 14, you can get a guaranteed Heirloom without spending a penny.

Respawn Entertainment reward their most dedicated players and biggest spenders with Heirlooms and Prestige skins, the rarest items in Apex Legends. Players can either spend upwards of $100 during collection events or get lucky and find Heirloom shards in a pack, which can be pricey in its own right.

Apex Legends players are guaranteed to get an Heirloom in every 500 packs, but with the level cap increase in Season 14, there’s a guaranteed free Heirloom up for grabs every season.

How to get a guaranteed Heirloom for free in Apex Legends Season 14

It’s thanks to the brand-new level cap increase that you can get a guaranteed Heirloom in Apex Legends, as reaching the level cap of 2000 will ensure you’ll find Heirloom shards.

The level cap will be effectively raised to 2000 in Apex Legends Season 14, where players can reach level 500 an additional three times, operating like a prestige system.

Leveling up will guarantee you Apex Packs, and reaching the new level cap of 2000 will grant you 544 of them. With there being a 1 in 500 chance of finding Apex Packs, this means that you’re guaranteed to find one on your way to level 2000.

Of course, reaching level 2000 is a monumental task that will take hours and hours, but you’ll be rewarded with one of Apex Legends’ rarest items for your effort. But, you might be in luck and get the Heirloom before reaching your 500th box.
