How to get an Armored Truck in Warzone: How to find satellites, upgrade costs, more

Warzone Season 4 has added the insanely overpowered Armored Truck to regular battle royale, so here’s how to find and upgrade it.

Warzone armored truck

Warzone Season 4 has added the Armored Truck to the regular battle royale. Fitted with a turret, it can be upgraded with extra armor, a permanent UAV, and even repaired. Here’s how to find and upgrade this incredibly powerful vehicle.

Warzone fans will remember the Armored Royale LTM in which players battled it out with insanely powerful Amored Trucks fitted with machine guns. Following the Season 4 update, which has brought significant weapon balance changes and the new Dirt Bikes, these Armored Trucks have made their way to regular battle royale.

The standard “Big Bertha” Cargo Trucks still remain and Armored Trucks are something separate entirely. Here’s how to find and upgrade these game-changing vehicles.

How to find satellites in Warzone

While “Big Bertha” trucks spawn at the beginning of the round, you need to find a mini-satellite to get your hands on the powerful Armored Truck.

Although large satellites have crash-landed in certain areas of Verdansk ’84 for the Ground Fall event, mini-satellites crash-land around the map over the course of a game. You’ll hear them first, so look up into the sky and you’ll see them drop in. These appear to drop completely at random, so keep your eyes on the sky for when they drop in.

Once you find one, you’ll have to capture it like a Recon Contract, which initiates the stage of getting an Armored Truck.

How to get an Armored Truck in Warzone

Once you’ve captured the satellite, a Satellite Cache will drop in some distance away. It’ll be marked on your screen so you can head towards it. After you open it, you’ll get either a HARP or an Armored Truck.

Simply call in the Armored Truck like you would a Loadout Drop, and then once inside, you can switch to the turret seat. You can also upgrade it with permanent UAVs and increased armor.

To summarize:

  1. Find one of the mini-satellites in Verdansk
  2. Capture the mini-satellite
  3. Head towards the dropped Satellite Cache
  4. Pick up the Armored Truck Scorestreak
  5. Call it in like a Loadout Drop
  6. Upgrade it through the Buy Station at the back of the trailer

How to upgrade Warzone’s Armored Truck

Once you’ve called in the Armored Truck, you can upgrade it with various powerful tools. Not only can you upgrade its armor and repair it on the fly, but you can also add a permanent UAV so you always know who’s around you.

Simply head to the back of the truck and you’ll see a Buy Station screen attached to the trailer where you can purchase tools for the truck. These upgrades are costly, but while you’re in this tank, you won’t have much trouble sending enemies to the Gulag and taking their cash for yourself.

Here are the upgrades you can buy for Warzone’s Armored Truck:

  • Armored Truck
    • Refill Trophy ($2500)
    • Repair Armored Truck ($1500)
  • Armored Truck Upgrade
    • UAV ($4000)
    • Trophy System ($3000)
    • Heat Resistant Barrel ($3000)
    • Heavy Armor ($2000)
  • Equipment
    • Armor Box ($6000)
    • Munitions Box ($4500)

Raven Software haven’t commented on the Armored Truck’s inclusion yet, but we expect it to remain for the duration of the Ground Fall event.

Warzone players roast “terrible” new Bitrate Banger anime bundle

Warzone Pacific players have been openly slamming the brand-new anime-inspired Bitrate Banger cosmetics bundle.

The Warzone Pacific developers added an anime bundle called ‘Bitrate Banger’ in Season 4 Reloaded, and players have openly criticized this new addition.

There have been a few notable crossovers in Warzone that brought new content for players to unlock, including the Attack on Titan anime crossover which featured the Captain Levi Operator skin.

That anime bundle was criticized by players with comparisons being made to Fortnite’s collaborations. Now, the new Bitrate Banger anime bundle is also being ostracized by the Warzone community.

The Bitrate Banger Bundle features the High Bitrate Operator skin, new weapon blueprints, charms, emblems, and other cosmetic items. The H4 Blixen Lovedrunk Melody weapon blueprint allows you to blast music for your Operator to dance to.

While the developers added these with the intent of making things a bit more fun for players, they haven’t been well-received, with many criticizing the fact that these cosmetics are anime-inspired.

One Twitter user replied with an image of old Modern Warfare 2 weapon camos, explaining that they miss their simplicity. They tweeted: “I miss this. No anime stupid-looking guns. Just camos.”

A few other Twitter users felt that an anime aesthetic doesn’t suit the tone of Warzone, and one player sarcastically stated: “Oh, I remember when my grandpa used one of these in Normandy during WW2.”

Reddit user ‘DefunctHunk_COD’ started a thread in the Warzone Pacific subreddit, asking players their opinions on the new High Bitrate Operator skin that’s included in the Bitrate Banger Bundle.

One of the commenters described it as “terrible” before adding that the developers are not targeting Fortnite players rather than the fanbase that grew up playing Call of Duty titles. They concluded by saying “this is what sells.”

While many players were extremely critical of the Bitrate Banger Bundle, not everybody slammed it. A few users defended it in the thread while showing their appreciation for the addition of the anime-inspired camos.

One user felt that they were refreshingly different than the other camos in the game: “What’s wrong with anime camos? Everyone doesn’t want to see and play with boring camos every day.”

This cosmetic bundle has brought a variety of different opinions from the Warzone Pacific community, and it remains to be seen exactly how the developers are planning to respond to this feedback.

Surprising Vanguard weapon is actually Warzone’s best Assault Rifle

Call of Duty pro IceManIsaac has revealed which Vanguard Assault Rifle players should use in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

Warzone expert Isaac ‘IceManIsaac’ Hamilton has revealed which Vanguard weapon is the best Assault Rifle choice in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

The Warzone Pacific meta underwent major changes after the Season 4 Reloaded update brought a plethora of weapon balancing changes, and now players are looking for the best guns to use.

Call of Duty pro IceManIsaac was examining the new medium-range meta and then revealed which surprising Vanguard Assault Rifle players should try out after dropping into a game of Warzone.

According to IceManIsaac, the STG44 Assault Rifle is an “old meta that has come back with vengeance,” as many professional players are now using the weapon in their tournament loadouts.

He praised the weapon’s recoil, TTK, and movement speed, which make it extremely viable for eliminating enemies quickly during medium-range engagements. IceManIsaac then revealed the best loadout for the weapon.

IceManIsaac’s STG44 Warzone loadout

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: VDD 760mm 05B
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: VDD 34S Weighted
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
  • Perk 1: Nerves of Steel
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

IceManIsaac’s loadout focuses on bringing the STG44’s recoil under control with the help of the VDD 34S WeightedM1941 Hand Stop, Hatched Grip, and Nerves of Steel. Once the weapon is more accurate, the SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x can be used to take out distant enemies

The 7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags will give you enough enemies to eliminate them all. The Lengthened ammo type will buff bullet velocity so you can instantly shred through your foes. Finally, Fully Loaded ensures that you have the max amount of ammo.

With these attachments equipped, you’ll be able to dish out some serious pain extremely fast with the STG44. So, be sure to try this loadout when dropping into Caldera, Fortune’s Keep, or Rebirth Island.

Best Grau 5.56 loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded

Here are the attachments, Perks, and Equipment to make the best Warzone Pacific Grau loadout in Season 4 Reloaded.

The Grau 5.56 is a viable pick for mid-range encounters, and we’ve got all the attachments, Perks, and Equipment for the best Grau 5.57 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

The Grau 5.56 Assault Rifle boasts a clean sight, great accuracy, solid damage, and an impressively fast TTK that allows you to dominate medium and long-range combat encounters in Warzone Pacific.

The Season 4 Reloaded update shook up the game’s meta through buffs and nerfs to numerous guns, but the Grau 5.56 continues to be a great choice in the new season, and you can improve it with the right attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

Here’s the best Grau 5.56 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

Best Warzone Grau loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Tempus 26.4″ Archangel
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 60 Round Mags

We’ll start off this Warzone Pacific Grau loadout by equipping the Monolithic Suppressor Muzzle and Tempus 26.4″ Archangel Barrel to boost the weapon’s damage range and firepower.

Next, we’ll focus on improving the weapon’s accuracy with the Commando Foregrip and the VLK 3.0x Optic to eliminate foes from a distance. Finally, we’ll cap off this loadout by equipping the 60 Round Mags so that we have plenty of ammo to finish off your enemies.

Best Perks & Equipment for Warzone Grau class

  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stim

You should equip E.O.D to become more resistant to explosive damage from Thermite and Grenades.

You’ll need an SMG like the Marco 5 for close-range encounters, and Overkill will let you select a second weapon. In the last Perk slot, Amped will let you quickly switch between both guns.

Semtex is a great way to dish out additional damage while the Stim will grant you a health boost to get you out of overwhelming situations.

How to unlock the Grau in Warzone

Unlocking the Grau 5.56 is easy enough but might be time-consuming as, in Modern Warfare or Warzone, you just need to get 5 kills in a minute when using an Assault Rifle 25 times.

Doing this in Modern Warfare is the recommended option. If not, we recommend solo queuing Plunder and heading to some of the busier areas of the map so you can be constantly fighting.

Best alternatives to Warzone Grau

If you’re looking for a great alternative to the Grau in Warzone Pacific, then we recommend trying out the Cooper Carbine in medium-range combat situations. The KG M40 is another great choice because of its low recoil, and is one of the most popular guns in the game right now.
