Fortnite’s 16.10 update has brought a brand new Spire challenge to complete with the NPC Tarana, so here’s how you can find it and get it done.
Fortnite players have a ton of new content to enjoy in Season 6, including tamable wild animals, a weapon crafting system, and new quests to complete in the Battle Pass. The recent 16.10 update brought new Spire Challenges to the game too.
The first of these challenges deals with a dinosaur-themed NPC named Tarana on the map. You’ll have to find this character, and then locate a few Artifacts to complete this challenge.
We’re here to help out with that with this detailed guide.
Where to find Tarana in Fortnite Season 6
While this challenge might seem a bit complicated at first glance, it’s fairly easy to complete. All you have to do is find Tarana on Fortnite Island, and then follow the instructions that she gives you.
This NPC can be found at Bonesy Burbs, and interacting with her will show some dialogue options. You can follow these to get the quest to find three Artifacts.
We’ve marked the location of this character on the map below.
Where to find the Artifacts in Bonesy Burbs
The good news is that these Artifacts are all located around Bonesy Burbs, so you won’t have to make your way across the entire island to find them. You’ll be able to find them in three locations within this area.
Fortnite Artifact Location 1
You’ll find the first Artifact inside the big building that has horns painted on it. This is located right behind the walkway bridge so head inside, and then interact with the Artifact to collect it.
Fortnite Artifact Location 2
After you’ve collected the first Artifact, make your way towards the gas station to find the second one. It will be lying inside, just behind a tree in the corner of the room.
Fortnite Artifact Location 3
The final Artifact can be found underneath the stairway at the clocktower. Once you’ve collected it, you’ll finally have all three, and can return to Tarana to complete this part of the quest.
As we mentioned earlier, these are all fairly easy to find since they’re within the same area. Now that you know where to look, you should be able to collect all of these, and finish the challenge within just a few minutes.
However, there is a bug in the game that’s making this challenge harder to complete. If you’re killed after accepting the artifact quest from Tarana, this glitch might keep the quest to find these artifacts from showing up.
Hopefully, Epic Games will patch up this glitch soon, and it won’t get in your way when attempting to complete this quest.

Fortnite Gold Cube: Location, travel path & more
The Gold Cube in Fortnite Season 8 has started to move, but what’s it for and where is it going? We’ve got the lowdown right here.
Fortnite Season 8 is here with plenty of Cube-themed content for players to tackle. One of the most mysterious new additions is the Fortnite Gold Cube which has begun traveling around the map. Here’s where to find it and where it’s headed.
Fortnite Season 8 Cubed has landed, and it’s brought with it a whole host of new changes to the world-famous battle royale. From another Marvel crossover with Venom and Carnage to an entirely new dimension called The Sideways.
In a throwback to the first season, Epic has also brought back Kevin the Cube, and he isn’t alone this time.
A strange Gold Cube can also be seen rolling around among the numerous alien Cubes populating the map. Here’s everything we know about it so far.
What does the Fortnite Gold Cube do?
The actual purpose of the Gold Cube is currently unknown. When the other purple squares began making their moves, it remained stationary but has since started to travel as well.
This more prestigious Cube will likely play a massive part in the end-of-season event that will take place before Season 9 begins.
As always, we will keep you updated with any fresh news on what role the Fortnite Gold Cube will play.
Fortnite Gold Cube location
The mysterious Fortnite Gold Cube started near Holly Hedges and Weeping Woods before it began its long journey.
At the time of writing, it can be found in between Boney Burbs and Believer Beach, and it is set to head towards Pleasant Park.
As the object now appears to be continuously moving, its location will change drastically throughout Season 8.
It is expected to go past many of the named locations around the outskirts of the map before reaching its final destination.
If the Cube is moving, then where exactly is it going? Well, according to a leak from dataminer HYPEX, the Fortnite Gold Cube – along with every other alien square – is actually heading to the center of the map.
This location has been significant for some time in Epic’s ongoing narrative, especially in the Zero Point storyline that has dominated many of the game’s seasons.
It appears that all of the Cubes, except Blue, which is yet to budge, will all be meeting in the same place eventually.
What happens when all of the Cubes make their way to the middle remains to be seen, but if history is anything to go by, then fans can expect something big when they are reunited.

New leak claims Fortnite is adding another Warzone feature
Some new Fortnite leaks suggest that Epic Games are planning to implement a feature from Warzone in the game.
Some new leaks have emerged which suggest that Epic Games will be adding the sliding mechanic from Call of Duty: Warzone to Fortnite in a future update.
Battle Royale titles are highly competitive, and fans often call for these games to take inspiration from each other. Apex Legends players want Warzone’s matchmaking, and Warzone fans want Halo: Infinite’s Battle Pass system.
These leaks came from notable data miner HYPEX, who claims that the Fortnite developers are working on a new movement type in the game. This will come with a few benefits for players.
“It will increase your FOV by 15 when you’re sliding and it will make your camera shake, with a cooldown of 2 seconds,” HYPEX tweeted. “I don’t know the release date or if it’s gonna be an item!”
This sliding movement has been a staple of both Apex Legends and Warzone, so it might provide to be an exciting addition to Fortnite.
It’s worth keeping in mind that this is currently just a leak, and you should take this information with a grain of salt until Epic Games confirms this. If it’s true, then this might be an exciting change.
The developers could introduce a cooldown timer so that players don’t abuse this mechanic in combat. If it arrives in the game soon, then we will probably see some big changes in player tactics.
We’ll keep checking for updates regarding this. For more Fortnite, check out all the Bounty Board Locations in Season 8, and stay tuned to Charlie INTEL!
