Fortnite Season 8 has finally arrived, and you can purchase your favorite cosmetic items in the Battle Pass by spending Battle Stars, so here’s how you can earn these.

Fortnite Season 8 has brought some brand-new skins, such as Carnage and unicorn Fabio Sparklemane. You can unlock many cosmetic skins by progressing through the Battle Pass.

Once you reach a new tier in the Battle Pass, you can use Battle Stars to purchase new cosmetic items.

This guide will cover everything you need to know about earning and spending Battle Stars in Fortnite Season 8.

What are Battle Stars in Fortnite Season 8?

Battle Stars aren’t a new concept in Fortnite, but they were revamped before being reintroduced in Season 7. Previously, they’d count as a Tier Skip in the Battle Pass.

The Battle Pass is divided into different pages, and each one contains different in-game items. Each of these items has a different Battle Star value attached to it, and you spend Battle Stars on the cosmetics of your choice.

How to earn Fortnite Battle Stars

Luckily, earning Battle Stars is simple in Fortnite Season 8; you’ll earn five Battle Stars every time you level up. Whether that’s by completing challenges or purchasing Battle Pass Levels with V-Bucks, you’ll still earn the five Battle Stars.

And you don’t need to own the Battle Pass to earn them either, since all players earn the same number of Battle Stars when they level up, and each page of the Battle Pass has rewards available for all players to claim as you play.

There is no doubt that the addition of this feature has allowed players to earn even more of their favorite cosmetic items ever since they were first introduced.
