How to get Decimator Wonder Weapon in Vanguard Zombies
The Vanguard Zombies Season 2 update has added the Decimator Shield Wonder Weapon, and here’s how you can unlock it in the new Terra Maledicta map.
There are plenty of fun new changes in Vanguard Season 2, including the new Zombies Terra Maledicta map along with some additional Wonder Weapons you can use, such as the returning Ray Gun.
Another new addition is the Decimator Wonder Weapon, which will provide you with some much-needed protection as you take on hoards of undead enemies, and we’ll go over how you can unlock it.
How to get the Vanguard Decimator Shield Wonder Weapon
In order to unlock the Decimator Shield in Terra Maledicta, you’ll need to play Vanguard Zombies until you’re at least level five and make sure all three starting portals have been completed.

Unlike the Ray Gun, you can’t acquire the Decimator Shield by simply looting Mystery Boxes collecting floor loot, and you’ll need to complete a long quest before you can get your hands on it.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Hop into the Terra Maledicta map in Vanguard Zombies
- Head into a portal and complete the objective
- Return to the Terra Maledicta hub area
- Head through a second portal and complete another objective
- Vercanna will now judge you worthy of using the Decimator Shield so head to the Green Fountain
- Use the Speaking Stone by the crates near the Demonic Frenzy power-up in the Tents
- Enter the portal and complete the Purge objective (Capture 10 runes while fighting Zombies)
- Return to the hub and enter another portal to complete another objective
- Head back to the hub and shoot the glowing gold auras around the map
- Use the Speaking Stone by the yellow fountain in Bazaar
- Head through the portal and protect the Syphoncores to charge the Wonder Weapon
Once all of this is done, you can return to the hub to finally equip the Decimator Wonder Shield and use it to defend yourself against the growing number of Zombies that attack you in each new level.
As you can see, unlocking this Vanguard Zombies Wonder Weapon requires quite a bit of time and patience, but the added protection that it provides you with will prove to be worth the effort.
