How to get Enlightened skins in Fortnite Season 5
Fortnite Season 5 introduced a host of new skins in the Battle Pass, with some having special versions of the character called “Enlightened Skins.” Here’s what you need to do to get your hands on them.
Fortnite is known for the wide variety of cosmetics and skins that you can unlock. Chapter 2, Season 5 has a plethora of new content, with various new characters and cosmetics available. Epic Games has also reintroduced Enlightened skins this season.
You get these skins by leveling up, and they’ve been a constant presence throughout Fornite Chapter 2. Seasons 1 and 3 had one Enlightened skin each, while Seasons 2 and 4 had different variants that players could unlock.
The Sapphire, Topaz, and Zero Point styles will be available for most of the Battle Pass skins in Season 5. Here is how you can unlock them.
How to unlock all Enlightened skins
If you to unlock all of the Enlightened skins, then you’ll need to grind through different challenges and quests. You’ll get a new style for every 10 levels you progress after hitting level 100. Your goal is to get earn enough XP to reach level 250, so that you can get all of them.
We’ve listed the level requirement for every Enlightened skin type below:
- Sapphire level requirements: 110 – 150
- Topaz level requirements: 160 – 200
- Zero Point level requirements: 210- 250
This may sound like a lot of effort, but Season 5 has much more XP than before. This means that you can level up fairly quickly by completing quests. You can check exactly how much XP every quest will get you by checking the Quests tab.
Unlike last season, you can preview these skin variants before unlocking them, so you’ll know what you’re buying. However, you will only be able to see the most basic version of the skin. This means you can’t see what the Sapphire version of a character looks like until you unlock the Sapphire style.
The Mandalorian is the only character who doesn’t have Sapphire, Topaz, and Zero Point styles in Fortnite Season 5. In addition to looking cool, Enlightened skins show your high level in the game so they’re definitely worth getting.
