GTA Online’s freshest piece of content, the Cayo Perico Heist, should normally be tackled with one more than person to ease the burden. However, it can be done solo, and we have a couple of tricks to help you quickly earn some gold bars solo.
It doesn’t matter what stage you’re at with GTA Online, more money is always welcome as one can never have enough unnecessary Sports Cars. The Cayo Perico Heist has a lot of potential loot for you to take home and buy said cars.
There are plenty of other commodities that can earn you some extra cash on top of the huge haul that Rockstar‘s Cayo Perico Heist has tucked away. But gold bars are one of the best money-makers in the entire game, adding as much as $500,000 on top of your main goal.
If you’re comfortable tackling hard fights against El Rubio’s guards, then you can find out how to easily bring home the gold bacon.
Gold bars solo in GTA Online’s Cayo Perico Heist
It’s fair to say that if you’re doing this solo then you’re going to need to make sure you’re stocked up and prepared for war. Once you’ve done that, then you can watch GTA YouTuber Vil2486i‘s easy method of accumulating gold bars during the heist.
In their video, the player is engaged in heated combat with El Rubio’s guards before coming to a locked room that requires a key to enter.
But instead of taking the conventional route by tracking down the enemy with the card for the door, you can actually manipulate the A.I to open it for you. In order to do this, complete the following:
- Find a building with two locked doors that appear to have key card slots with red lights on
- Peer inside to see if the room contains a guard
- Start shooting at the locked doors and windows, but not the guard
- Run back and forth between the doors
- If he’s standing near one of the doors, keep shooting the door
- Keep repeating this until the guard becomes impatient and unlocks a door himself
- Quickly dash into the building and kill him
- Collect the gold and escape
Just like that, you have a bigger score to take home, if you’re successful of course. You’ll still need to escape and avoiding damage to maximize your rewards.

FIFA 22 players slam referees for blowing whistle early
FIFA 22 players are becoming increasingly frustrated with how early referees blow their whistle before half-time and full-time.
A complaint from previous years appears to have returned as FIFA 22 players are frustrated with referees blowing the half-time and full-time whistle when a goal is about to be scored.
FIFA 22 carries on the tradition of EA presenting simulated football across Ultimate Team, Career Mode, and a variety of other entertaining modes. But not everything can be nailed perfectly, and referees have always been a contentious issue in football games.
One of the most notorious complaints regarding artificial referees is their apparent lack of awareness and understanding of football context.
This has been highlighted with a clip showing a player being denied a blatant goal because of the ref blowing the whistle early.
Real-life referees need to have common sense when it comes to how a football match plays out as not all scenarios have concrete outcomes.
Sadly, A.I can only do so much, and xboxboi12 found this out the hard way when they were robbed of a guaranteed goal during their Pro Clubs match.
Right at the end of the first half of their Pro Clubs game, the opposition defender made a mistake, was dispossessed, and the player that nicked the ball squared it to the OP to tap into an empty goal…or so they thought.
As the ball hit the back of the net, with the clock still just about on the screen, you can hear the referee blow the half-time whistle, just before the ball crossed the line.
There was clearly no offside in the build-up to the goal as the defender kicked it against the attacking team, and the pass to the OG poster went backward.
It’s a case of the clock probably being a bit over what is considered to be the allotted time, and because the ball was passed and deemed to be “loose,” the ref blew his whistle.
This goes back to the real-life argument as if this scenario occurred during a real match, a referee would never blow the whistle if someone was shooting into an open goal.
Given that this is a problem that has featured in many different FIFA games, it’s unlikely that EA is going to patch it in FIFA 22.
