Playing GTA Online in a public session means dealing with a few rambunctious players, but you can avoid that by getting into your own solo ‘public’ lobby. Here’s how you can get this done.
There is always something for players to do in GTA Online because of continuous updates and the role-playing community. You can make a ton of money quickly, hunt for hidden treasure, and cause general mayhem.
While most players in a public session in-game are respectful, a few may decide to mess with you while you’re trying to complete races, jobs, and other activities. You can avoid these trolls by playing in a solo lobby.
How to get into a GTA Online solo public lobby on PS4/PS5/Xbox
There’s a simple trick for joining your own solo ‘public’ lobby. First thing’s first, you need to make sure that you’re inside a building you own if you want to avoid being sent to GTA 5’s story mode.
This trick involves disrupting your internet connection. Here’s what you need to do:
- Load into GTA 5 Story Mode.
- Unplug your Ethernet cable, and connect to a wireless network.
- Join a public GTA Online session and enter a building that you own.
- Reconnect the Ethernet cable to your console.
Once that’s done, all players should be kicked from your lobby. You’ll then find yourself alone in your own public lobby.
How to get into a GTA Online solo public lobby on PC
While this also works on PC, you can try an alternative method involving the task manager’s network performance monitor. Simply launch GTA V and then follow these steps:
- Join a public GTA Online session, and visit the building you own.
- Press alt-tab to open Task Manager.
- Select the Performance tab and click “Open Resource Monitor.”
- Find and Right-click GTA5.exe before selecting “Suspend Process.”
- After a few seconds, right-click again and select ‘Resume Process’.
After you’ve followed these steps, the game will kick you out of the lobby you were in and put you in a new one. You’ll get to play GTA Online by yourself without having to worry about reduced earnings and player interference.
However, you might not be alone for your whole play session, as another player might eventually join your lobby. The good news is that you can repeat either of the processes above to enjoy your own session again.
After a while, it’s possible that another player could find their way into your GTA lobby, but if you repeat the processes listed above, it won’t be long before you’re in a new, empty one again.

Epic Games are looking to do another Marvel crossover by having Thanos return to the game for the first time since Season 4. The mad titan will be part of a new in-game event, and here’s how you can unlock him.

You can unlock the Fortnite Thanos skin and his cosmetics earlier by competing in the Thanos Cup on June 21. This will require you to complete a total of 10 matches in 3 hours to earn a point as part of a Duo.
The Fortnite Thanos skin and Back Bling will be the rewards for the top-performing teams in each region, and players that earn 8 total points will receive “Thanos Watches” spray.
If you wish to participate in this event, you’ll need to have an Epic Account at level 30 with 2FA enabled. Thanos was initially available as part of an LTM in Season 4, but now he is here to stay when players start to get the Fortnite Thanos skin.
The Fortnite Thanos skin is a cool-looking outfit, and you can cause some serious havoc around Fortnite Island using the Infinity Gauntlet. The mad titan’s arrival from outer space fits perfectly with Season 7’s alien theme.

Where to find graffiti-covered walls at Hydro 16 & Catty Corner for Fortnite Week 2 Quests
Here’s how you can complete the Fortnite Season 7 Week 2 Quest to find Graffiti-covered walls at Hydro 16 and Catty Corner.
There are brand-new challenges in Week 2 of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7, and here’s how you can complete the one that requires you to find graffiti-covered walls at Hydro 16 and Catty Corner.
One of the Week 2 Epic Quests requires you to search for a Graffiti-covered wall at either Hydro 16 or Catty Corner. Here’s exactly where you can find each of these locations and get this done.
Where to find the Graffiti-covered walls at Hydro 16 and Catty Corner in Fortnite
To complete this Fortnite challenge, you’ll first need to complete another Quest that has you collect spray cans from warehouses around Pleasant Park and Dirty Docks. You should be able to find those easily enough.
Once that’s done, you can find a Graffiti-covered wall at the hydro plant known as Hydro 16, as well as in Catty Corner. Once you’ve located one of these, you’ll need to walk up to it and interact with it.
To make this easier, we’ve marked both of the Graffiti locations on the map below:
Fortnite graffiti locations
The Hydro 16 landmark is located near Slurpy Swamp, and you can find it by heading along the road east out of that area. The Graffiti will be on a wall around the front, right above the murky water.
Alternatively, you can choose to visit Catty Corner near the southeast corner of the map. Rather than finding the wall directly inside the area, you’ll need to make your way east along the road out of there.
The Graffiti will be on a wall that’s along the road next to a bunker. Interact with it, and this will net you a total of 30,000 XP.
Just be sure to drop directly into either of these areas after you jump from the Battle Bus. However, other players may also have the same idea, so it’s best to be ready for a battle.
That’s all you need to do to complete this weekly challenge in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7. You can also check out our guide on how to level up the Season 7 Battle Pass as fast as possible.

Apex Legends devs finally fixing frustrating stuttering issues
Respawn Entertainment have confirmed that a fix is coming for the stuttering issues plaguing Apex Legends on PC.
Stuttering issues can often make playing Apex Legends at a high frame rate feel much less fun, but Respawn Entertainment have confirmed that a fix for this problem is on its way.
One advantage to playing games on PC is that you get to enjoy them at a decently high frame rate. While that sounds fun, it also comes with its own set of problems, as Apex Legends fans have to deal with stuttering issues.
This is when the high frame rate causes the game to be choppy, ruining your accuracy. As a result, players often end up lowering the FPS. Now, Respawn have assured fans that this will soon be resolved.
Apex Legends fans were discussing the “microstutter bug” on Reddit, and this gained a response from Respawn’s Lead Software Engineer Samy ‘ricklesauceur’ Duc.
One player asked if there was any way to get past the game’s 300 FPS cap, and another user advised against trying this. The game engine has a bug in it which causes a microstutter when you reach 180 FPS.
The developer then confirmed that this issue “should be gone after [the] next patch.” This fix will allow players on higher-end rigs to enjoy smoother gameplay than before.
Once this patch arrives, PC gamers should be able to get past the 180 FPS mark without encountering stuttering issues. There’s currently no date given for when we should expect to see this update patch.
This fix seems to be exclusive to PC, and players experiencing stutter issues on console will have to wait for a wider patch.
