YouTuber Lannan ‘Lazarbeam’ Eacott gets his own Fortnite skin

YouTuber Lannan ‘LazarBeam’ Eacott has confirmed in a brand-new video that he is the next content creator to get his own Fortnite Icon skin. Here’s when we expect to see it in the game.

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5 brought a ton of new skins through crossovers with franchises such as DC, Alien and Street Fighter. Epic Games have also branched out to bringing popular content creators as skins through the Fortnite Icon Series.

Participating in the Icon Series Tournament allows you to unlock exclusive YouTuber and Twitch streamer skins ahead of their release. TheGrefg received his own skin as part of this series recently, and fans have been wondering who will get the spotlight next.

Now, Australian YouTuber LazarBeam has announced his skin on his channel.

When will LazarBeam’s Fortnite skin arrive?

LazarBeam uploaded a brand-new video on March 1, in which he showed off the Fortnite Icon Series skin to his fans. It turns out that it will become available in the Fortnite Item Shop on March 4, 2021.

His character wears a neon green button-down shirt, a tool-belt, and some grey shorts. The YouTuber explained that he wanted to honor his humble beginnings as a construction worker with his Fortnite skin.

It also comes with a “Lunch Break” emote that has his character sit down while eating a mini pie, a sledgehammer pickaxe, and neat little construction worker gingerbread back bling.

At the moment, it’s not clear exactly how much the bundle will cost, but looking back at other Icon Series bundles can give us a rough estimate. Ninja’s bundle cost 2,000 V-Bucks, the Lachlan bundle cost 2,200, and the Loserfruit bundle cost 1,800.

With this in mind, we assume that Lazarbeam’s bundle will most likely cost between 1,800 and 2,200 V-Bucks. This is extremely exciting for fans of the YouTuber, who will be able to unlock the skin for themselves soon.

We’ll keep checking for any new updates over the coming days, and will inform you of anything new that we learn.
