Mewtwo is one of the strongest Pokemon ever, with only Arceus stronger than it. Here’s how you can unlock Mewtwo in Pokemon Go.

Pokemon Go trainers must unlock and power up the best available Pokemon to win PvP battles and gym raids. Combat Power (CP) is usually the most reasonable element to judge a Pokemon’s potential, and it is no surprise that Mewtwo has the third-highest CP in the game.

Here’s a guide to unlocking Mewtwo, Shiny Mewtwo, and Shadow Mewtwo in Pokemon Go.

How to catch Mewtwo in Pokemon Go

The best way to catch Mewtwo in Pokemon Go is by winning five-star Raid Battles. The legendary Pokemon occasionally appears in five-star raids and was last available between June 16 and July 1, 2022. There’s no information regarding the return of Mewtwo to five-star raids.

Beating Mewtwo in a five-star Raid Battle is as difficult as it sounds. You need to team up with several trainers and use your best Bug, Ghost, and Dark-type Pokemon as these types are strong against Psychic-type Pokemon.

The difficulty of a Tier 5 Mewtwo raid can be overwhelming for two trainers. It is best to take on the challenge with at least three members.

After the battle, you’ll get a limited number of Premier Pokeballs. Make the most of them by making great and excellent throws as they increase the chances of catching the Pokemon. Using Razz, Golden Razz, and Silver Pinap berries can also ease the process.

Can you trade a Mewtwo in Pokemon Go?

Yes, you can use trading to unlock Mewtwo in Pokemon Go. However, the cost of trading a Legendary Pokemon can be outrageous. It is lower if the person receiving the Mewtwo already has it registered on their Pokedex.

This chart reveals the Stardust required to trade a Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Go:

Friends typeRegistered Legendary PokemonNew Legendary Pokemon
Good Friends20,0001,000,000
Great Friends16,000800,000
Ultra Friends1,60080,000
Best Friends80040,000

How to catch a Shiny Mewtwo in Pokemon Go

If you’re lucky enough, you might get a chance at catching Shiny Mewtwo in Pokemon Go after beating it in a Tier 5 raid. A Shiny Mewtwo has a green tail instead of pink.

Shiny Pokemon do not guarantee better IVs or attacks. They are different only visually and are sought-after because of their extremely low spawn rate.

How to catch Shadow Mewtwo in Pokemon Go

You cannot get a Shadow Mewtwo at the moment because none of the Team Go Rocket leaders has it in their lineup.

Back in 2021, Giovanni was using a Mewtwo and players had to complete a special research called An Inter-egg-sting Development to face the Team Go Rocket leader and catch it.

All in all, Pokemon Go players can do nothing but wait for the return of Mewtwo in five-star raids and Giovanni’s lineup to catch its standard, shiny, shadow, and shadow shiny variants. We’ll update this article whenever such an event arrives.

Apex Legends players call for devs to make Firing Range change after Season 14 update

Apex Legends players are calling for the devs to fix the Firing Range after the Season 14 update changed the way players die.

Apex Legends players have noticed a difference in the Firing Range after the Season 14 update, and now they are calling for the devs to make a change.

Apex Legends players are still getting used to the changes in Season 14, as there have been both drastic updates to existing content and new introductions such as Vantage and the Laser Sight attachment.

With that said, players have already found great ways to utilize Vantage and also discovered how strong character buffs are, including Mad Maggie and Newcastle‘s.

However, like any new update, Season 14 has brought some pretty crazy glitches, and players have also found an unwanted change in the Firing Range that they’re now calling for the devs to revert.

Players often use the Firing Range to practice and 1v1 others, but the removal of the Self-Revive has caused these interactions to be much slower and less enjoyable.

Prior to the Self-Revive’s removal, players would 1v1 with a Gold Knockdown Shield so that if they went down, they could easily get back up or switch characters to gain health and retain their loadout.

This prevented the effort of having to respawn and collect your loadout again, allowing players to 1v1 efficiently. Unfortunately, as Skeptation has highlighted, the removal of Self-Revive means this is no longer possible.

Now, Skeptation and others who agree in the comments are calling for the devs to “change this so players get downed not full killed with friendly fire on.”

While it’s not a major issue, it is clearly something the fans want and may have actually been something that the devs didn’t consider when they took the Self-Revive out of the game.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but for now, check out how Apex Legends has reached new heights in Season 14.

FIFA 23: Release date, crossplay, new features, more

FIFA 23 is right around the corner, and EA have prepared a ton of new content for players to enjoy so here’s everything you need to know.

FIFA 23 Mbappe face

FIFA 23 release date is fast approaching, and football fans are eager to discover what EA has in store for them this year. Here’s everything you need to know about FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 will be EA Sports’ final football game with the FIFA branding as they get set to introduce EA Sports FC to the world next year.

Therefore, expectations for FIFA 23 are high and after EA showcased the new features and additions that await players across Career Mode, Ultimate Team, and Pro Clubs, there’s clearly a look to look forward to.

We’ll break down every new feature coming to FIFA 23 as well as the official release date, to best prepare you for an expansive final chapter.

Will FIFA 23 have crossplay?

FIFA 23 will have a crossplay feature for certain modes at launch. Crossplay in FIFA 23 will be limited to 1vs1 modes when the game releases. This will mainly impact Ultimate Team gameplay as players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC will face each other. Meanwhile, PS4 and Xbox One users will also match up against each other

This also means that a massive amount of players will be sharing one FUT market in FIFA. To find out more about changes to the market, you can read our article explaining how the Ultimate Team market will function in FIFA 23.

Unfortunately, EA confirmed that there would be no crossplay feature for the Pro Clubs mode. This infuriated players, and after a ton of backlash from the FIFA community, EA hinted that the feature could make its way to Pro Clubs post-launch.

FIFA 23 Ultimate Team new features

FIFA 23 Ultimate Team fans are in for some major changes. For starters, position modifiers as we know them will be removed from the game.

Instead, players will have secondary positions that mirror their real-life position changes. For example, Kyler Walker would be able to operate on full chemistry at RB or CB.

FIFA 23 Ultimate Team squad chemistry

Another major change set to hit the Ultimate Team mode is FIFA 23’s brand-new chemistry system. Chemistry lines across your squad are a thing of the past in FIFA 23. You’ll know have more freedom to build your squad with a less restrictive chemistry system.

This system will factor in nations, leagues, and clubs across the entire pitch in order to give players a chemistry rating between 0-3. Proximity is no longer a factor as Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold produce chemistry from RB to LB.

Check out our guide on Ultimate Team’s new game mode called FUT Moments for a look at what to expect in FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 World Cup modes

The World Cup mode added to FIFA 18 was a massive hit among players, and the community has been urging EA to revisit the feature for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

While we currently don’t know how many game modes will feature World Cup content, EA did confirm that there will be some involvement via the Ultimate Team mode.

It’s understood that both the men’s and women’s versions of the World Cup will be celebrated in FIFA 23, but we’ll have to wait and see what they have in store for players.

Mallory Pugh in FIFA 22

Given that the men’s tournament takes place in the winter of 2022 this time around, and the women’s edition is in the summer of 2023, EA would have plenty of time to give both footballing festivals the proper treatment.

FIFA 23 new & removed clubs

Due to licensing agreements, it’s not unusual to see clubs and leagues join and depart the FIFA franchise with every new release. Lately, certain Serie A licenses have been difficult to come by with notable clubs Juventus, Lazio, and Atalanta missing from the game.

EA confirmed that Juventus will be returning to FIFA this year in full capacity, with Claudio Marchisio leading the charge as a FUT Hero item available to Ultimate Team players.

While one partnership seems to be reignited, another one is set to end in FIFA 23 as reports claim that the J-League will be removed from the game. If reports are true, this would mark the end of a 6-year partnership between the Japanese League and EA Sports.

With a ton of different licenses to take note of, it could be difficult to keep track of which teams, leagues, and stadiums will be involved in FIFA 23, but we’ve made a guide to help you out.

FIFA 23 gameplay changes

In addition to changes to the Pro Clubs and Career Mode offerings in FIFA 23, EA were also excited to announce several gameplay changes. These changes are meant to freshen up the way the game feels on the pitch.

For starters, set pieces have undergone an overhaul in FIFA 23, with penalties receiving a simplified mechanic. Set pieces also include free kicks and corners, which you’ll have to learn how to master once more this year.

One of the most entertaining ways to flex your FIFA prowess is through skill moves, and in FIFA 23 there will be more to master than ever before. You can check out our guide to discover all of the gameplay changes being introduced in FIFA 23.

Apex Legends players claim Mad Maggie “too good not to use” after major Season 14 buffs

Mad Maggie received a major buff in Apex Legends Season 14, and players claim that the Legend is now a must-pick.

Mad Maggie in Apex Legends

Mad Maggie has never been the most popular character in Apex Legends, but thanks to a major buff in the Season 14 update, players claim she’s “too good not to be used.”

Apex Legends Season 14 is here, bringing a new version of Kings Canyon, major weapon buffs and nerfs, and of course, a new Legend — Vantage. That’s not all though, as existing Legends have been tweaked, and Mad Maggie was on the receiving end of a powerful buff.

Now, with her improved Wrecking Ball ability, her popularity is steadily rising, as she becomes a direct counter to the ever-popular Gibraltar.

Apex Legends Season 14 gave Maggie’s Wrecking Ball a major buff, where it will now deal damage to several placeable objects such as the Black market, Castle Walls, and Gas Barrels. But the biggest takeaway is that “it will also destroy Gibraltar’s Dome of Protection.”

Gibraltar is considered a crutch Legend in competitive thanks to the Dome of Protection keeping players safe in the chaotic endgame. While the Riot Drill could penetrate the shield before, players can now use Maggie’s Wrecking Ball to completely shatter the dome, leaving whole squads exposed.

Reddit user Ship_Doctor showed Maggie’s Wrecking Ball in action, claiming that “Maggie is too good not to be used this season.” In the clip, the user uses the Wrecking Ball to shatter the shield, then the Riot Drill to deal even more damage as they take cover behind a tree.

“Went from quite literally never touching her (I played her twice on Control) to this season so far, she’s all I’ve played,” replied one player. “She’s so much fun.”

“I’ve never met anyone else who hated Gibby more than me. His dome is a complete crutch, glad they did this unintentional nerf to him,” explained another.

However, some players explained that Gibby doesn’t appear in pubs all that often, but Maggie is sure to take plenty of squads by surprise in Ranked. Especially if they never read the patch notes.
