Blizzard have announced a collaboration between Overwatch 2 and fast food giant McDonald’s, giving players that chance to grab a unique Tracer skin. Here’s how to get the Overwatch 2 Epic Lightning Tracer skin with McDonald’s.

Overwatch 2 has a diverse lineup of colorful characters, all of which come with their own unique abilities to master. Everyone has a handful of heroes they prefer, and customizing them players an extra level of ownership over their mains.

Luckily, the hero shooter sequel is packed with new skins to unlock, both with real money or the Battle Pass. Tracer mains are in luck, as they can unlock an exclusive skin thanks to Blizzard’s collaboration with McDonald’s.

Here’s how to get the Overwatch 2 Epic Lightning Tracer skin through McDonald’s.

Overwatch 2 players living in Australia can unlock the Epic Lightning skin by purchasing any one of three meals from any McDonald’s restaurant in the region using the MyMacca’s app. The skin comes with any of the following orders:

  • Big Mac Meal

Anyone who orders one of these meals using the app will receive an email within 48 hours containing a code to redeem the cosmetic. We’ve included a step-by-step guide on how to get the Overwatch 2 Epic Lightning Tracer skin below:

  1. Download the MyMacca’s app from the App Store or on Google Play.
  2. Add at least one of the meals to your basket and checkout.
  3. Wait for your confirmation email to make sure the order has gone through.
  4. Check your inbox for another email within 48 hours featuring a code.
  5. Head to Battle.net and enter the code in the ‘Redeem a Code’ section.
  6. Load into Overwatch 2 and equip the Epic Lightning Tracer skin.

Only one code will be sent to each customer, so even if you order multiple times you can only redeem one Overwatch 2 skin. There’s also no option to exchange the Tracer skin for a different Hero’s cosmetic.

Unfortunately, this offer is only currently available to players living in Australia, so those in the U.S. and Europe will miss out this time. There is every chance that the promotion will arrive in other regions though, so we’ll keep this page updated with the latest details.
