How to get the D.I.E. Shockwave wonder weapon in Die Maschine
Black Ops Cold War Zombies introduces a brand new wonder weapon in Die Maschine, the D.I.E. Shockwave.
The D.I.E. Shockwave is a powerful weapon for taking out large groups of Zombies. It technically has unlimited ammo, however you will need to absorb zombie souls with it’s alternative fire mode in order to build up enough charge to send out a powerful blast, killing every zombie it comes in contact with.
The weapon comes with 4 charges, or 60 souls. For each zombie soul absorbed, the ammo count goes up by 3, and each time a blast is fired, it deducts 15 souls.
Here’s how you can get the Shockwave yourself.
Step 1
In order to start this side quest, you’ll have to kill a Megaton zombie. Once you defeat the elite enemy, a keycard will drop onto the ground. It will be bright yellow and ultra rarity.
Step 2
After picking up the keycard, you need to go down to the Particle Accelerator area and travel to the room with the large bomb hanging from the ceiling above Deadshot Daqurai.
Behind the mystery box spawn in the corner of the room will be a broken window above a drawer and a keycard reader. Insert the keycard into the reader and the drawer will open, giving you the D.I.E. Remote Control.
Step 3
Go back up into the main house on the first floor. You will be able to look through a crack and turn on the D.I.E. When you do this, you will have to bring enemies near the door for them to be absorbed into the weapon. You do not have to shoot the enemies for them to be absorbed.
If you do not absorb enough enemies, the weapon will turn off and enter a cool down phase. You will have to wait for the weapon to be available again to try this step again.
When the weapon has absorbed enough zombies, it will blow open the door and will lay on the ground for you to pick up and equip.
