How to get the female Midas skin in Fortnite
The highly-anticipated female variant of the Midas skin, known as Marigold, is finally in Fortnite Season 5.
It was rumored that a female variant of the Midas skin would be making its way to Fortnite, and now it has arrived in Season 5. Here’s how you can get your hands on the skin, titled Marigold.
Fortnite veterans will remember when the original Midas skin was introduced in Chapter 2, Season 2. It was based on the mythical king of the same name and became a fan favorite, so there was a ton of hype when a female version of the skin was rumored for Season 5.
The latest update has introduced a ton of exciting crossovers with franchises like Terminator, DC, Predator, and many others. Now, this new skin, titled Marigold, is available with the Golden Touch challenge bundle.
Epic Games have placed the Golden Touch challenge bundle in Fortnite’s in-game Item Shop. Unfortunately, you can’t use V-Bucks to purchase it and will have to spend some real money instead.
The good news is that it’s relatively affordable compared to other bundles in the battle royale. For a total price of $11.99 (£9.99), you’ll be able to unlock the following items:
- Marigold skin
- Golden Gambit back bling
- Golden Daggers pickaxe
- Golden Touch Challenges
Considering the rewards, this is a pretty good deal so be sure to save up for it!
How to complete the Fortnite Marigold challenges
Tackling the Golden Touch challenges can net you a total of 1,500 V-Bucks. They will appear under the ‘New Challenges’ banner in the lobby. Select it, and make your way to the Special Quests section to see all the challenges and rewards.
First, you’ll have to complete six ‘Uncommon or Rarer Quests’ to earn a reward of 100 V-Bucks. This is fairly straightforward, and you can get this done by viewing your XP Quests and sorting them by rarity.
You’ll have a better chance at completing the ones with lower rarity, since they tend to be much easier. Alternatively, you could also try your luck with any remaining weekly Fortnite challenges.
As soon as more Marigold challenges are revealed, we’ll be sure to update this article with that information.

One of the Fortnite Season 2, Week 8 Quests tasks you with calling in an Air Strike on a tank, but you’ll need to where to find one first and we’ll go over everything that you need to know.
You can complete weekly Quests in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 that grant you the opportunity to earn some bonus XP to help you progress through the Battle Pass and unlock cosmetic items.
A new set of challenges is available in Week 8, and one of them requires you to call in an Air Strike to destroy a tank. This guide will cover how you can find an Air Strike and use it to complete this Quest.
How to find an Air Strike in Fortnite
You can pick up an Air Strike as floor loot, or from Chests and Supply Drops around the island. However, it’s a Legendary item, so it may take a while before you’re actually able to find one in Fortnite.
You’ll just have to keep an eye out and hope that the Air Strike is nearby. We recommend visiting some of the best Fortnite landing spots on the map that are rich with high-tier loot to increase your chances of finding this item.

Here’s how you can call in an Air Strike on a tank:
- Head to a tank location on the Fortnite map
- Equip the Air Strike
- Aim at the tank
- Press fire
The Air Strike launches 20 missiles and takes place for a duration of eight seconds. The good news is that these tanks don’t need to have a driver in them, so you can just blow up an empty one without having to battle it.
