How to get the Shadow Tracker Exotic weapon in Fortnite Season 6
Fortnite Season 6 brought some major changes to the battle royale, and the locations of Exotic weapons like the Shadow Tracker have changed. Here’s where you can find this gun now.
Exotic weapons are extremely popular among Fortnite players due to their rarity, and the Shadow Tracker is no exception. This pistol is capable of dishing out some serious pain to your opponents, so it’s worth getting.
There have been many major changes in the Season 6 update, including some alterations to the map. The weapon’s location has been moved on Fortnite Island, and here’s how you can get your hands on it
Shadow Tracker location in Fortnite Season 6
Since the Shadow Tracker is an Exotic weapon, you won’t find it by searching the ground or in chests across Fortnite Island. You’ll need to find an NPC named Power Chord, and purchase the gun from her.
The good news is that this NPC will spawn at one specific location, so you can find her right away by heading over there. She’s located at the Dance Club Cabin, just southwest of Misty Meadows. We’ve marked this on the map below:
Once you get to this area, you can purchase a Shadow Tracker Pistol from the NPC. Here’s what you need to do:
- Visit the Dance Club Cabin at the top of the hill in this area.
- Head inside and speak with Power Chord.
- Talk to her, and select the Shadow Tracker option.
- Click again to confirm the purchase.
That covers everything you need to do to get this weapon for yourself. Luckily, the Shadow Tracker is one of the cheapest Exotic guns in the game, costing only 400 Gold Bars so be sure to save up.
This weapon is unique because it will mark the location of the opponent that you hit. Every member of your squad will be able to see the player’s location and will take them down.
It’s safe to say that this weapon’s special attribute makes it well worth the price. There can be 4 Shadow Tracker handguns in the same game if somebody else purchases them, but it can be obtained by eliminating them.
