The Hunt for Adler event has proved to be quite erratic for CoD players with many Warzone users reporting that the challenge has never tracked. So Raven Software has made Adler’s ‘Tortured and Rescued’ skin available for everyone in Season 3.

Continuing the lore of Black Ops Cold War, Russell Adler’s kidnapping in Season 1 has led to a chase to find and recover him before Stitch decides enough is enough.

To heighten the tension, Activision launched the Hunt for Adler event to make players complete specific challenges on either Black Ops Cold War or Warzone to unlock a special skin. But Warzone has had a hard time registering progress and as a result, many players have been unable to unlock it.

Raven Software has acknowledged this and decided to allow all players to use the skin, and here’s how you can get it for free.

How to unlock Hunt for Adler ‘Tortured and Rescued skin” in Warzone

Hunt for Adler went live shortly after the beginning of Cold War and Warzone Season 3, making its six cumulative challenges available.

Problems were reported very quickly, and Raven Software has made the skin free for Warzone players anyway. These are the steps you’ll need to follow to acquire it:

  1. Boot up Warzone
  2. Log into the game
  3. Go to the ‘Operators’ tab in the game’s menu
  4. Select Russell Adler
  5. Negotiate his skins until you see the ‘Tortured and Rescued’ skin
  6. Equip it, and you will now appear with this skin in-game!

You can now sport Adler’s grizzly, beaten, and battered look – a fitting get-up for a mode that will do its best to beat you down to ensure you don’t survive.

You’ve only got until the end of Season 3 to get a hold of the skin, so make sure you do so before it’s gone forever.

Whether you choose to equip the skin or not is up to you, it probably won’t be used that much with meta skins like Roze and Wraith reigning supreme in Season 3.
