How to get your teammates to respawn faster in Warzone Rebirth Island Resurgence

A Warzone community member has provided some insight on how players can help get their teammates to respawn faster on Rebirth Island.

Respawn Faster Warzone Rebirth Island Resurgence

The Rebirth Island Resurgence game mode allows Warzone players to spawn back into the match after being eliminated if their teammates survive a countdown. One Warzone player has explained how you can make this countdown go by faster.

Rebirth Island was introduced as a new map in Call of Duty: Warzone at the beginning of the Black Ops Cold War cycle. The Resurgence game mode for this smaller map has become very popular among players respawn mechanic makes for adrenaline-fueled matches.

While this respawn mechanic requires at least one member of your team to stay alive for a specific period of time to bring back your eliminated teammates, one community member recently explained how you could shorten the countdown timer and bring your teammates back into the fight on Rebirth Island faster.

How to get your teammates back faster in Warzone Rebirth Island Resurgence

You will find that the respawn countdown timer for Warzone Rebirth Island Resurgence is 15 seconds for the first round and then 39 seconds for the next two rounds until the respawn mechanic is no longer available for players to use in the same way the Gulag closes.

Community member spideyjiri took to the official Warzone subreddit and posted a video explaining that players can actually speed up this countdown timer for Rebirth Island Resurgence in various ways.

Downing, an enemy player, will take off 2 seconds from your teammates’ countdown timer, while 7 seconds will be eliminated from the countdown timer if you get the full kill on the downed enemy.

Players can also knock one second off by destroying enemy equipment and 5 seconds by completing a contract. You can also reduce the countdown timer by 2 seconds for every loot crate you open.

Finally, performing a finishing move on an enemy player will take off 8 seconds, so there are plenty of ways, according to the informational video from spideyjiri, that players can help to bring their eliminated teammates back faster when playing Warzone Rebirth Island Resurgence.

There is no doubt that players should do their best to perform these kinds of actions when they are waiting to help get their teammates back into the fight faster and improve their chances of winning, especially on the small action-packed Warzone map.

Best MW MP5 loadout for CoD: Warzone Season 5

The MW MP5 is one of the most powerful SMGs in Warzone Season 5, so here’s the best loadout and Perks you can run with it.

Best Warzone MW MP5 Loadout

Modern Warfare’s MP5 SMG has long been a popular choice in Call of Duty: Warzone, so here are the attachments and Perks to make the best Warzone MW MP5 loadout to maximize its slaying potential following the Season 5 Reloaded update.

Various secondary weapons have been top dogs in the many metas that have been used by players in the life of Call of Duty: Warzone, with one of the most consistent being the Modern Warfare MP5.

Many extremely popular weapons have been nerfed in Warzone Season 5, such as the Bullfrog, OTs 9, and the Krig 6. These nerfs have actually benefitted the MP5, with YouTuber Rallied discovering that it’s now the fastest-killing SMG in the game.

Here are the attachments and Perks to make the best Warzone MW MP5 loadout for Season 5 and dominate all of your enemies in every game mode.

Best Warzone MW MP5 loadout

Best Warzone MW MP5 loadout attachments

  • Barrel: Monolithic Integral Suppressor
  • Laser: 5mW Laser
  • Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Mags
  • Stock: FTAC Collapsible

This Warzone MP5 loadout uses the 45 Round Mags, as you’ll struggle to take on multiple targets with only 30 bullets. While slightly less powerful, you won’t be caught out with no bullets in your gun.

The Monolithic Integral Suppressor is the best choice for Modern Warfare’s MP5 as it has all the traits of the standard Monolithic Suppressor but uses both the muzzle and barrel slots. You’ll stay off the radar while firing and also receive additional bullet velocity.

As the MP5 is a ‘pocket’ weapon, you want it to be as mobile as possible. To increase its speed, you should add the 5mW Laser and FTAC Collapsible stock, increasing your ADS speed and making you quick and unpredictable in close-range fights.

The Merc Foregrip is an excellent choice for the best Warzone MW MP5 loadout for extra recoil control and even more hip-fire accuracy. And finally, to make sure you can down and finish several targets in one fight, the 45 Round Mags will be a necessary addition.

Best Perks to use with Modern Warfare MP5 in Warzone

Best perks warzone MW MP5 class
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill then Ghost
  • Perk 3: Combat Scout

When choosing which Perks to run with the best Warzone MW MP5 loadout, you want those which will benefit you in close-range engagements.

When fighting up close, enemies will often chuck a bombardment of explosives your way to get the upper hand. With E.O.D equipped, you’ll be able to tank a plethora of Grenades and Semtex, allowing you to stay in the fight.

As the MP5 is most effective as a secondary, you’ll want to take Overkill from your first Loadout Drop. This will allow you to take two primary weapons, such as an HDR, then you can get Ghost from your following Loadout to be concealed from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.

Season 5’s new Combat Scout is an extremely effective choice for the third slot. Players were quick to call it “OP,” as it automatically pings enemies and briefly highlights them through walls.

Most recent MW MP5 buffs and nerfs

MP5 with 10mm Auto Rounds

For a short while, Modern Warfare’s MP5 was incredibly powerful at close range, thanks to the 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags. These underwent a game-changing secret buff that gave the MP5 an incredibly fast TTK. However, Raven nerfed these mags in the Season 5 Reloaded update.

  • Submachine Gun Charlie (MW) with 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags
    • Maximum Damage decreased from 34 to 31

“This Maximum Damage change mirrors the adjustment to the base Submachine Gun Charlie (MW) made earlier this season,” the devs explained.

How to unlock the Modern Warfare MP5

Best Warzone MW MP5 Loadout

Acquiring the Modern Warfare Warzone MP5 isn’t too difficult, and its requirements are easy enough.

All you need to do is reach Level 12, and it will be unlocked for you to use to make the best Warzone MW MP5 loadout.

Best alternatives to MW MP5

Need something to go with the MP5 or fancy something else entirely? We’d recommend the Bullfrog, MAC-10, Cold War MP5, or CX-9 to try instead. Or, you can take a look at the fastest killing weapon in Season 5 to melt the competition.

Try out the best Warzone MW MP5 in Season 5, and you’ll be running one of the fastest-killing SMGs the game has to offer.

Warzone Iron Trials ’84 mode: Duos end date, new ruleset, Specialist & rewards

Warzone’s “toughest” mode has arrived in Season 5 with Iron Trials ’84 offering a new ruleset and the best players an exclusive reward.

Published

Warzone players fighting in Iron Trials 84 mode

Following Warzone’s Season 5 Reloaded update, devs introduced Iron Trials ’84. In this mode, players can earn bragging rights by winning “the toughest Battle Royale mode to ever come to Verdansk.”

Warzone Season 5 Reloaded has officially arrived, bringing with it significant weapon balance changes, the now-released Numbers event, and new game modes.

One of these new modes is Iron Trials ’84, which is a more hardcore Verdansk experience where players can earn an exclusive Calling Card. In Iron Trials, you must “flex your mastery over the entire arsenal of weapons” and “prove you can handle any firefight with any type of armament.”

Here’s everything you need to know about Warzone’s Iron Trials ’84 mode.

Warzone Iron Trials Duos end date

Warzone Season 5 Reloaded roadmap

Warzone’s Iron Trials ’84 launched on September 16 with roaring success. It arrived in the weekly Playlist updates, and Raven Software has now confirmed that “Iron Trials ’84 Duos will remain live through the 30th.”

There’s no confirmation of whether Iron Trials will switch to another game mode or will end completely. We’ll be sure to keep you updated when September 30 rolls around, or if Raven provides another update.

Warzone Iron Trials ’84 rules

Warzone players playing Iron Trials '84 in Verdansk stadium

In many ways, Iron Trials is a more competitive version of Warzone. The Gulag is more skill-reliant, loadout drops are rarer and more difficult to acquire, and the time-to-kill (TTK) has been raised across the board.

Thanks to the Call of Duty Blog and the Season 5 Reloaded patch notes, here’s every new rule in Warzone’s Iron Trials ’84:

Operator and time-to-kill changes

Kitsune fighting in Call of Duty Warzone Season 5
  • Base Health: Compared to a normal match, all players base health is increased from 100 to 250.
  • Health Regeneration: The regen delay timer has been increased from 5 to 7 seconds and regen per second has been decreased from 120 per second to 40. It may be wise for players to reconsider preferred Perks and Equipment.
  • Starting Equipment: Players drop in with a .44 Magnum and a Sledgehammer.

Devs have previously made it their mission to increase Warzone’s TTK, saying that it increases “the overall capacity for skill expression” and enables “more escapes from impossible situations, moments of finesse, epic outplays, and opportunities to flex exquisite marksmanship.”

They said that Iron Trials 84’s health change is “set to affect the feel of combat, time-to-kill, weapon, Perk, and Equipment viability as the entire game is effectively altered!”

No free Loadout Drops

players receiving loadout drops in Call of Duty Warzone

Even if you Gulag’d early and are scrambling to find cash and more weapons, you can always be safe in the knowledge that a free Loadout Drop will arrive at the start of the second and fifth circles.

But not in Iron Trials ’84, where Complimentary Loadout Drops have been disabled. Staying alive and finding cash has never been more important, especially when “the cost at a Buy Station has risen, too.”

Players will have to collect and spend $15,000 instead of the standard $10,000 to purchase a loadout drop in this game mode.

Tougher Gulag

Players fighting in Warzone Season 5 Rush Gulag

In Iron Trials ’84, devs have revealed that the Gulag is still open, but will emphasize one-on-one skill. They also said that “the only thing standing between you and redeployment is the agility of your trigger finger.”

Players have previously called for dual weapons and Tactical Equipment to be removed from the Gulag, and Raven is delivering in the Iron Trials ’84 Gulag.

  • No akimbo
  • No semi-auto or fully-auto Shotguns
  • Almost no Tactical Equipment
  • Light Machine Guns (except the RPD (BOCW)) and all Tactical Rifles have been removed from Gulag Loadouts

Also, if you win your one-on-one, you’ll now redeploy with whatever weapons and equipment you had in the Gulag.

No Stopping Power or Dead Silence

Warzone Adler running with dead silence

Players have long complained about the luck-based advantage that the powerful Field Upgrades Stopping Power and Dead Silence brings.

Raven Software has previously reduced Stopping Power spawn rates and allowed High Alert to counter Dead Silence, but Iron Trials removes both.

Sniper Rifle, Stun Grenade, and Medical Syringe nerfs

Stitch sniping with LW3 Tundra in CoD Warzone

Sniper Rifles are some of Warzone’s most powerful tools, allowing you to take out targets at extremely long range without getting your hands dirty. However, Iron Trials ’84 has made it so Sniper Rifles “Can only one-shot to the head within 30 meters.”

This will likely promote more aggressive playstyles for snipers, where they must close the gap to land that ever-important one-shot kill.

In addition, Stun Grenades and Medical Syringes will also see their effectiveness decreased by a whopping 50%, making them not nearly as strong as they are in regular game modes.

Fewer vehicles

Dirt Bike, Bertha, and Helicopter in CoD Warzone

A common strategy for surviving Verdansk is to move around in the safety of Big Bertha Trucks, SUVs, and Helicopters. You won’t be able to do this in Iron Trials, though, as the only vehicles on the map will be ATVs and Dirt Bikes.

You won’t be able to run over your opponents with such ease, and you won’t be able to use the vehicles for cover. Raven recommends you “Plan your drops carefully and rotate early.”

Loot changes

Warzone Verdansk 84 stadium

You can find all of the game-changing loot changes that are in effect in the Warzone Iron Trials ’84 game mode below:

  • Basic Attachments: Common weapons will start with an attachment – most to provide their max magazine size.
  • Rarity Spawn Rates: Epic and Legendary weapons are now harder to find. Players will have to open a few more boxes than usual to find what they’re looking for.
  • New Rarity – Classified: These Black Ops Cold War weapons will spawn with a few more attachments than usual – more than the standard five. That said, good luck finding one.
  • Killstreaks: Drop rates have been reduced. Time to stop spamming UAVs and to start putting those senses to the test.
  • Cash Spawns: Larger piles of cash are rarer. Players will have to stay on top of scavenging for cash if they plan to afford a Loadout.
  • Field Upgrades: No Dead Silence. No Stopping Power Rounds. Period.
Warzone Iron Trials 84 gameplay

Buy Station price changes

  • Armor Bundle: $1,500 to $2,000
  • Gas Mask: $3,000 to $4,000
  • Cluster Strike: $3,000 to $4,000
  • Precision Strike: $3,500 to $4,500
  • Self Revive: $4,000 to $5,000
  • UAV: $4,000 to $6,000
  • Loadout Drop Marker: $10,000 to $15,000

The Buy Station not only has adjusted prices, but it also gives players the chance to buy the Specialist Perk bonus too. It will set players back a whopping $50,000, so you will do well to acquire one in a game.

  • Supply Run discounts are now 50% on every item except Team Redeploy (100%), Loadout Drop Marker (10%), and Specialist Token (10%)
  • The Hardline Perk now gives a 25% discount to every item except Self Revive (20%), Loadout Drop Marker (10%), and Specialist Token (20%)

Contracts price changes

  • Recon: $1,100
  • Scavenger: $1,600
  • Bounty: $2,500
  • Supply Run: $1,200

Warzone Iron Trials ’84 reward

For winning a game of Iron Trials ’84, players can get their hands on an exclusive Calling Card.

Devs said that “there’s no participation trophy for this mode,” and only those who win Iron Trials will receive the Calling Card.

Will Iron Trials come to Warzone Custom Lobbies?

Iron Trials has been incredibly popular since its arrival, with many players calling for it to be a permanent ranked mode. There’s no confirmation that a ranked mode will ever arrive in Warzone, but the competitive scene should be receiving the new rules in the future.

Along with the confirmation that Iron Trials would be around until at least September 30, Raven Software told YouTuber JGOD that “As for customs… it’s not coming tomorrow is all we can say for now.”

So, it sounds very likely that Iron Trials rules will make their way to Custom Lobbies and competitive Warzone, but there’s no confirmation on when. However, we’ll let you know as soon as it’s confirmed.

That’s everything we know about Warzone Season 5’s Iron Trials ’84 mode! With all of these rules in mind, check out the best Warzone Iron Trials ’84 loadout.

Warzone Specialist Bonus: All Perks & how to get in Season 5

Here’s how to get your hands on the rare Specialist Bonus in Warzone Season 5 and all of the upgrades it gives you.

Published

on

Warzone specialist bonus

Here’s every Perk you get with Warzone’s uber-rare Specialist Bonus, and how to get your hands on the powerful pick-up in Warzone Season 5.

If you’re very lucky in Call of Duty: Warzone, you can get your hands on the Specialist Bonus. In Multiplayer, this allows you to accrue Perks instead of Killstreaks, essentially turning you into a super-soldier. In Warzone, it’s found by finding the Token.

The Specialist Bonus Token was previously available in Warzone through the Nakatomi Plaza vault, but it can now be found around Verdansk and in the Iron Trials mode. Warzone’s Specialist behaves slightly different to Modern Warfare’s, so here’s every bonus it gives you and how to get your hands on it in Season 5.

How to get Specialist Bonus in Warzone Season 5

Warzone specialist bonus

Warzone’s Specialist Bonus was the key to a ton of world-record games during Season 3’s 80s Action Heroes event. It was temporarily removed after the event concluded, but was then readded during Season 4 and is still around in Season 5.

How to get Specialist in Battle Royale

Rather than having to open a bunker or gain access to the Nakatomi Vault, the Specialist Bonus is now mostly found through luck. And to make it even rarer than it was before, it no longer drops on death. If you die with the Specialist Bonus equipped, it will disappear and nobody else can have it.

Here are the places you can find the Specialist Bonus in Warzone Season 5:

  • Standard ‘Blue’ loot chests
  • Legendary ‘Orange’ loot chests
  • Red Door loot rooms

The Red Doors have undergone some significant changes since their arrival, now giving you Sentry Guns, allowing you to complete an Easter Egg, and even dropping you from the sky. If you’re looking for a Specialist Bonus, Red Doors seem to be the way to go.

How to get Specialist in Iron Trials 84

players fighting in stadium in iron trials

Following Warzone’s September 23 patch notes, the Specialist Bonus arrived in Warzone’s Iron Trials 84 mode. While game-changing, Raven Software has ensured that it’s extremely difficult to get.

The only way to get it is to purchase it from a Buy Station for $50,000. This is an incredible amount of cash, and you’ll likely need to be having the game of your life to afford it.

Raven explained that “We suspect very few people will be able to say they’ve purchased a Specialist Token. However, we do feel there is an opportunity to provide high tier Players with additional impactful outlets for their hard-earned resources.”

What does Warzone’s Specialist Bonus do? All Perks

Call of Duty Warzone Perk selection

Warzone’s Specialist Bonus offers players every standard Perk in the game. This turns you into a super-soldier, allowing you to be hidden from UAVs, Restock your equipment on the go, see enemy footstep trails, and have your vision pulse when an enemy aims at you. Plus, it also gives you Season 5’s powerful Tempered and Combat Scout Perks.

Here’s the full list of Specialist Bonus Perks:

  • Double Time
  • E.O.D
  • Scavenger
  • Cold-Blooded
  • Kill Chain
  • Quick Fix
  • Restock
  • Hardline
  • Tempered
  • Overkill
  • High Alert
  • Ghost
  • Pointman
  • Tune Up
  • Amped
  • Combat Scout
  • Shrapnel
  • Battle Hardened
  • Spotter
  • Tracker

It’s worth noting that Specialist does not give you Weapon Perks. Modern Warfare guns used to get these extra Perks such as Sleight of Hand and FMJ, but Raven Software decided the bonus needed to be nerfed, so this is no longer the case.
