Resident Evil 9 & Resident Evil 4 Remake in development

It seems that Capcom is developing Resident Evil 9 along with various other titles, such as the RE4 remake.

Resident Evil Village

With Resident Evil Village on its way, there is a ton of speculation about what Capcom has planned next, and it seems that the RE9 might already be in production, along with some other projects.

There is a ton of anticipation for the upcoming Resident Evil Village, as new details keep emerging to feed the hype. However, it’s rumored that Capcom is already working on another follow up in the form of Resident Evil 9.

Some new information has popped up which suggests that the developers have been working on the title for a while now, at the same time as their other projects such as the RE4 remake. Here’s everything we know about this so far.

This was all revealed by Dusk Golem who took to Twitter in order to discuss Capcom’s announced and rumored Resident Evil titles. According to him, the devs had their hands full with multiple projects in 2018.

He has spoken about the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 remake in the past, along with RE Outrage, but this time was different. In the latest tweet, he also brought up Resident Evil 9 for the first time.

He explained; “Wait until you find out that there was a period of time that RE:2, RE:3, RE8, Outrage, RE:4 & RE9 were all in development at the exact same time (late 2018).” This led to a few fans getting hyped about the possibility of seeing some Resident Evil 9 news soon.

“I literally cannot see it releasing before 2024,” he said. “To the point it’s actually not worth even talking about right now, anything could happen to it in dev, from the whole thing being rebooted (it’s happened a lot in the RE series).”

That could mean that RE9 will end up having a six-year development cycle. Capcom often works on multiple projects simultaneously, so a 2024 release isn’t entirely out of the question.

With Resident Evil Village set to release on May 7, 2021, fans of the franchise have a lot to look forward to, and you get a taste of what’s to come in the the game’s “Maiden” demo.

Fortnite Ant-Man skin leaked as next Marvel crossover for Season 5

Fortnite data miners have discovered that the next hunter skin to come to Chapter 2, Season 5 is Marvel’s Ant-Man.

Fortnite Ant-Man

Fortnite is set to further bolster its roster of Marvel Superheroes, with data miners uncovering Ant-Man as the next Hunter to join Season 5.

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 went all-in on superhero content. Avengers and X-Men joined the battle royale fray and Stark Industries arrived as a POI on the map. This super-hero-themed season ended with Marvel characters and Fortnite players joining forces to defeat Galactus – which brought us into Season 5.

Over the course of Season 5, Jonesy has brought hunters to the island from various universes and pop culture. We’ve seen The Mandalorian, Master Chief, Predator, and The Terminator arrive over the course of the season.

Season 6 is set to launch around March 16, but it appears Epic Games are going to treat players to at least one last hunter before the season ends.

An image and audio files discovered by Fortnite data miner VastBlast strongly hint at Marvel superhero Ant-Man’s arrival.

Popular and reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX confirmed this theory by tweeting on March 5 that “The next hunter is confirmed to be Ant-Man!”

Ant-Man was a notable exclusion from Season 4, especially when he had his own POI, Ant Manor.

However, it appears Jonesy has recruited him to help stabilize the Zero Point. Some crazy stuff with the Zero Point is expected to happen at the end of Season 5, and Ant-Man could very well tie into this. Ant-Man can shrink down so small that he enters the Quantum Realm, which may be a valuable skill Jonesy is looking for.

How to get Ant-Man skin in Fortnite

No information has been revealed on how Ant-Man will enter the Fortnite fray, but by looking at how previous new pop culture characters have been added, we can make an educated prediction.

Ant-Man and the Wasp

It’s highly likely that Ant-Man will come to the Item Shop alongside a series of cosmetic items associated with the character. We’re not sure on a release date, but with the end of Season 5 quickly nearing the horizon, it’ll most likely arrive at some point in the week beginning March 8.

Fortnite often releases male and female versions of their most popular skins, so it’s very likely that we will also be seeing The Wasp come to Fortnite either at the same time as, or not long after, Ant-Man arrives.

When does Fortnite Season 6 start? Chapter 2 Season 5 end date

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6 is almost here, so here’s when Season 5 ends, and everything we know about the next major update.

Published

on

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is now nearing its end, but how long does it have left, and when will Season 6 officially launch?

Fortnite divides its content up into Seasons, with Chapters dividing them up further. Once Fortnite reached the end of Season 10 in October 2019, the game moved onto Chapter 2. We’re now nearing the end Chapter 2, Season 5, so players have set their sights on what Season 6 will have in store.

Fortnite Season 4 ended on December 2 following a massive battle between Fortnite players, Marvel heroes, and Galactus. The game was down for a few hours and then Season 5, titled ‘Zero Point,’ kicked off in style.

A plethora of pop-culture characters have come to the game in Season 5, such as Star Wars’ The Mandalorian, God of War’s Kratos, Xenomorphs, and the Predator.

How long does Season 5’s Battle Pass have left, and when does Season 6 start?

When does Fortnite Season 6 begin?

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 will end on March 16, 2021 with Season 6 likely to follow directly after it.

Official Fortnite channels have confirmed that the Battle Pass will end on March 16, so it’s safe to assume that Season 6 will begin during the week beginning March 15.

Popular and reliable leaker HYPEX has also revealed that Season 6 won’t be delayed, as the update has been added to the staging servers on March 5.

What will be in Fortnite Season 6?

Fortnite data miners already have an idea of what Season 5’s end event will look like. In the 15.50 update files, Mang0e discovered NPCs will be “teleported to wacky places by the Zero Point,” and Fort Tory discovered that audio will be distorted as we reach the event.

It’s likely Season 6 will feature significant map changes. We last saw Colossal Coliseum, Stealthy Stronghold, and the return of fan-favorite location Tilted Towers.

The theme for next season’s content is anyone’s guess, but data miners have become adept at deciphering Epic Games’ plans so we’re likely to have a strong idea before it officially launches. There is a plethora of leaked content such as vehicle-based bosses, and the ability to sell your loot to NPCs for Gold that could arrive in Season 6.

As soon as we know more about Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6, we’ll be sure to update you.
