How to launch from a Corruption Vent in Fortnite Season 8 Punchcard Quest
One of Raven’s Punchcard Quests in Week 4 of Fortnite Season 8 requires you to launch from a Corruption Vent in the Sideways, and here’s how you can complete it in no time.
Week 4 of Fortnite Season 8 added two new characters to the battle royale, and both of them have their own Punchcard Quests that you can complete if you want to earn some easy XP.
One of the Quests for the NPC Raven requires you to launch from a Corruption Vent in The Sideways. This task is easy enough to complete once you know where to find these launchpads on the map.
Here’s how you can complete this Fortnite Punchcard Quest.
Corruption Vent location in Fortnite
You need to visit a Sideways Zone on Fortnite Island for this Punchcard Quest. These spawn over different POIs at the start of every match and you can spot them easily when jumping from the Battle Bus.

Here’s what you need to do;
- Jump from the Battle Bus and land at a Sideways Zone
- Collect any weapons and loot you find nearby
- To find a Corruption Vent, search for a glowing orange circle on the ground
- Approach the Corruption Vent and walk on top of it
Once that’s done, the Corruption Vent will send you flying in the direction you approached it. You don’t have to worry about taking fall damage either.
Once you’ve launched yourself from one of these Corruption Vents, you’ll earn 30,000 XP and this Sideways Quest will be completed. You can then proceed to finish the other Quests by Raven.
However, you should be wary of Cube Monsters that will attack you at these Sideways Zones. That’s we recommend that you search your surroundings for useful loot and weapons.
