The HBR may not have been the most powerful Advanced Warfare weapon but it certainly was a popular choice alongside the ARX-160 and Ameli. Now, one player has recreated the weapon for players to use in Warzone Pacific.

The HBR was a popular weapon that players enjoyed using in Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer. It did not boast the most impressive rate of fire for an Assault Rifle, but it was an easy weapon to use thanks to its range and limited recoil.

The weapon also featured unique iron sights that players either loved or hated. Thanks to a Grau blueprint, Warzone players can recreate the HBR for use in Caldera and Rebirth Island.

The HBR is immortalized in competitive CoD history thanks to an incident involving former pro player and founder and CEO of esports organization 100 Thieves — Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag. The now infamous incident occurred during the Advanced Warfare season when Nadeshot randomly used the weapon in one round of an elimination match.

The weapon was not meta at the time and the decision was viewed as an odd one. Thanks to this event, the HBR became one of the most famous CoD weapons of all time, and Warzone content creator TheKoreanSavage has figured out how to use it in Warzone.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Tempus 26.4″ Archangel
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Magazine: 50 Round Mags
  • Rear Grip: Cronen Sniper Elite

What makes this Grau blueprint special is that it uses the exact iron sight design of the HBR. If you’re interested in recreating the HBR you’ll need the Mother Lode blueprint. The Grau is a dominant Warzone AR and this blueprint is sure to strike a nostalgic chord for longtime CoD fans.

As far as attachments go, TheKoreanSavage keeps it relatively simple by focusing on maximizing the weapon’s range. The Tempus 26.4″ Archangel and Monolithic Suppressor do just that, while the Commando Foregrip will improve aiming stability.

If you enjoy Caldera and Rebirth Island equally then this Grau loadout is perfect for you as the gameplay demonstrates that it excels in both maps thanks to the weapon’s versatility.
