You need four iron blocks and a carved pumpkin or a Jack o’ Lantern to make an Iron Golem in Minecraft. The goal is to place the four iron blocks in the shape of a T on the ground and put the carved pumpkin or the Jack o’ Lantern over it like a head.

How to obtain iron blocks in Minecraft
You can get an iron block in Minecraft through iron ore and iron ingots. Collect iron ore from the underground and add it to a furnace to make iron ingots. Thereafter, put nine iron ingots in a 3×3 crafting table for an iron block.
Hence, you’ll need 36 pieces of iron ore to get four iron blocks that are required to spawn an iron golem in the sandbox game.
How to get a carved pumpkin in Minecraft
You can make a carved pumpkin in Minecraft by simply using shears on a normal pumpkin. Pumpkins naturally generate at the following places:
- Over grass blocks in any biome apart from the ones with sand and stone.
- Stem farm rooms in Woodland Mansions.
- Wooden tents in Pillager outposts.
- Taiga and Snowy Taiga villages.
