How to make Black Ops 1’s Galil in Warzone
An iconic Black Ops 1 weapon has been discovered in Warzone and here’s how to recreate the legendary Galil Assault Rifle in the battle royale.
The Galil was one of the most used Assault Rifles in BO1, and many players have fond memories of the dominating AR. Now, one player has recreated the weapon for players to use in Call of Duty: Warzone.
When Modern Warfare 2 was released, people believed the Call of Duty franchise hit its peak. Little did they know the follow-up to MW2 would be one of the most beloved games in franchise history.
The first of the “Black Ops” series is fondly remembered for the innovation it brought to Call of Duty. Today, Black Ops titles are highly regarded amongst the Call of Duty community. Luckily for Warzone players, enjoying a blast from the past is as easy as making their very own Galil loadout.
The Galil loadout has been recreated by Call of Duty YouTuber TheKoreanSavage AKA K3. This is his latest throwback loadout in a series that includes MW2’s M4A1 and UMP45.
Players will need the Grav Art Deco blueprint to replicate the loadout. Although the weapon is an AR, it is best utilized as a medium to short-range weapon due to its lack of an optic. The attachments used also favor close-quarters gunfights.
Galil Warzone loadout attachments
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 21.3” Task Force
- Stock: Raider Stock
- Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
- Magazine: 40 Rnd Speed Mag
The key combination of attachments for this Galil loadout is the Bruiser Grip and Raider Stock. Both of these attachments provide a huge boost to your movement speed. These two attachments effectively turn the Galil into a high-powered Submachine Gun.
The Task Force Barrel adds a boost to range and damage ensuring that the weapon is still viable at medium distances. Meanwhile, the Agency Suppressor increases vertical recoil control. The weapon does kick upward when firing, making this an excellent choice for hitting targets that aren’t necessarily up close.
Then we have the 40 Rnd Speed Mag which provides enough ammo to wipe players as a secondary weapon. Interestingly enough, when equipped on this Galil, the 40 Rnd Mag does not reduce aim down sight speed as it does with other Assault Rifles.
It is important to note that this Galil loadout works best in tandem with a long-range Assault Rifle. Attach an optic to your main Assault Rifle and use the Galil for close-quarters combat. The unique iron sights on this weapon may not appeal to all players.
There you have it, Treyarch’s Black Ops 1 Galil is ready to go. Transforming Warzone’s Grav into the Galil we know and love is a must-try for long-time fans of the franchise. Take to the streets of Verdansk and reminisce about the Black Ops 1 days.

How to unlock RA 225 SMG in Warzone & Vanguard Season 5
Warzone and Vanguard’s new Season 5 SMG is set to deliver incredible mobility and a fast fire rate, so here’s how to unlock the RA 225.
The RA 225 SMG is making its way to Vanguard and Warzone during Season 5, and the weapon’s speed in tight spaces should be a valuable addition to both games.
With Season 5 set to act as the final chapter of Vanguard and Warzone before players move on to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, the RA 225 will be one of the last weapons to enter the fold.
We’ve seen a ton of post-launch Vanguard SMGs join the pool of weapons over the seasons, and it’s only right that players receive one final SMG before saying goodbye.
The new SMG will rely on a high fire rate and excellent mobility to dominate Season 5 of Warzone and Vanguard, so here’s how to unlock the RA 225.
How to unlock the RA 225 SMG in Warzone & Vanguard
Warzone and Vanguard’s RA 225 SMG will arrive at the start of Season 5 on August 24, and it will be available through the Battle Pass. At the moment, we don’t know the exact tier that the weapon will become available, but it should be either 15 or 31 according to previous seasons.
The RA 225 SMG will be one of two weapons arriving via the Season 5 Battle Pass, with the EX1 being the other. These two weapons should be free unlocks that occupy tiers 15 and 31 of the Battle Pass.
The Call of Duty blog for the Season 5 roadmap explains that “this SMG has a high fire rate and a very mobile compact frame.” The RA 225 is a lightweight SMG, which means it should provide excellent mobility for those looking to finesse opponents in Warzone Season 5.
Although it does come with quick handling, its fast fire rate means that while it will be devastating in close-range gunfights, you will have to manage some upward recoil kick that the RA 225 displays.
Its base form doesn’t boast the highest firepower possible, but with the right attachments, you should be able to increase its damage and recoil control to your liking.

Here’s everything we know about Warzone Season 5’s Heroes vs Villains event so far, including its gameplay, Faction Tokens, Faction Bundles, and free rewards.

- Warzone Faction Tokens explained
- Warzone Heroes vs Villains event free rewards
Warzone Heroes vs Villains event gameplay
The Heroes vs Villains event will take over all of Warzone Season 5, where players must pick whether they want to support the Heroes or Villains.
Faction Tokens appear in every mode, and it sounds like players must use these to help decide which team will come out on top. During this event, players can earn free rewards such as Calling Cards and Blueprints.
Warzone Faction Tokens explained
When playing any Warzone game mode during the Heroes vs Villains event, players can collect either Villain or Hero Tokens by “eliminating opponents and scavenging Supply Boxes.”
These Tokens will offer a discount on Faction Bundles at Buy Stations, and purchasing them will offer a discount on any other item from the Buy Station.
Details are sparse at the moment, but it sounds like these Faction Bundles will act like Donation Boards in Fortnite, where players spend cash to vote on an item they want to return. In Warzone, it sounds like players will be voting for whether they want the Heroes or Villains to win by the end of the event.
Warzone Heroes vs Villains event free rewards
At the end of the Heroes vs Villains Warzone event, every player will be awarded a unique Weapon Blueprint based on the winning team — Heroes or Villains.
That’s not all though, as like any other Warzone event there are free cosmetics to earn by completing challenges. Here’s every reward confirmed so far:
- Legendary animated “One vs. One” Calling Card
- Hero’s or Villain’s Weapon Charm
- “Conflict Spike” Melee Weapon Blueprint
- “Time Duality” Watch
- More

Warzone and Vanguard Season 5 will introduce five new weapons to the game and here’s how you can get your hands on the EX1.
Both Warzone and Vanguard are heading into their final season ahead of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
The Season 5 update is looking to bring an end to the seasonal updates with a bang, introducing a new Rage Serum Field Upgrade, classic characters as Operators, and an Umbrella Academy crossover.
As well as this, players will be getting five new weapons, one of which is the EM1 from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which has been renamed the EX1. For this interested in unlocking this “prototype Energy Rifle,” here’s everything you need to know.
How to unlock the EX1 in Warzone & Vanguard
The EX1 will be available for players upon launch of Warzone and Vanguard Season 5 as part of the Battle Pass.
Although it is not yet confirmed, we are expecting the EX1 to be the Warzone and Vanguard Season 5 Battle Pass tier 15 or 31 unlock.
For those familiar with EM1 from Advanced Warfare, the EX1 will be an energy Assault Rifle with unlimited ammo and an overheat mechanic which acts as a reload. It will also have an extremely fast fire rate with mediocre damage output.
According to the Call of Duty blog, the EX1 is “effective at long range,” and will also have “options for every scenario.” There are various attachments for the EX1 that can alter its behavior, turning it into a burst weapon with the “Burst Barrel,” or a sniper with the “Charge Sniper Barrel.”
