How to open missions kit and place a jammer in Fortnite Week 13 Quest
There are new Weekly Quests available in Fortnite Season 7, and here’s how you can complete the Week 13 Legendary Quest to open a missions kit before placing a jammer outside an IO base in a single match.
With the Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass about to expire and Season 8 releasing in September, you’ll want to earn as much XP as you can quickly. Weekly Quests let you do that while also earning Battle Stars.
One of the new Legendary Quests in Week 13 tasks you with opening a missions kit before placing a jammer outside an IO base in a single match. This guide will make the challenge a bit easier.
Mission kit locations in Fortnite
You’ll get this Fortnite mission from the NPC Marigold. The first thing you’ll need to do is find a mission kit to open, and this is fairly easy to do since three of them are located at Corny Complex.
Here are all the mission kit locations at Corny Complex:
- On the dirt trail by the red barn
- Under a tree behind the red barn
- Near a shack that’s east of the red barn
Although there are three different mission kits, the good news is that you only need to collect one for this Weekly Quest. They won’t be hard to spot as they will be glowing blue.
Once that’s done, you can proceed to the next stage of this Fortnite Legendary Quest.
Where to place the jammer outside the IO base in Fortnite
Next, you’ll need to place a jammer outside the IO base, so head to the mansion at Corny Complex. Luckily, this is just as easy to do as finding the mission kits, so you don’t need to fret.
Collecting the mission kit will give you a jammer automatically, so you won’t need to search around for it. Simply place it between the two windows at the mansion to complete this Quest.
Alternatively, you can place the jammer by the windmill or behind the red barn in the area. Once you’ve placed it at one of these locations, the Quest will be completed, and you’ll get 30,000 XP.
