How to place Fortnite missing person signs in Weeping Woods and Misty Meadows
Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7 is now in Week 4, and here’s how you can complete the new weekly challenge that requires you to place missing person signs in Weeping Woods and Misty Meadows.
There’s a ton of new content in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7, including an alien invasion and the mysterious disappearance of various characters. There are also new weekly challenges to complete as you progress through the Battle Pass.
The Week 4 Quests focus on finding these characters, as one of them tasks you with placing missing person signs in Weeping Woods and Misty Meadows. This is similar to Week 3’s Welcome Sign Quest.
Here’s how you can get to these locations, and complete this weekly challenge.
Where to find missing person signs in Weeping Woods
Weeping Woods is located between Slurpy Swamp and Holly Hedges on the west part of Fortnite Island. Make your way there, and you’ll find a total of five locations to place missing person signs.
Here’s where to place to place the signs in Weeping Woods:
- Outside the front entrance of the northern lodge.
- Near the west entrance of the eastern lodge.
- Near the east entrance of the same eastern lodge.
- Outside the small shack hidden under trees next to the lake.
- By the front of the shower block, near the RV Park.
Where to find missing person signs in Misty Meadows
Alternatively, you can choose to visit Misty Meadows on the south part of the map. It’s located between Catty Corner and Slurpy Swamp. Make your way there, and you’ll find five more possible locations to complete this task.
Here’s where to place Missing Person Signs in Misty Meadows:
- Outside the kiosk at the northeast point of Misty Meadows.
- Near the entrance to the blue hotel on the east side of Misty Meadows.
- Outside the ‘Oink’ butcher’s shop on the east side of Misty Meadows.
- At the bottom of the stairs on the west side of Misty Meadows.
- Next to the bus stop at the western side of Misty Meadows.
You can choose to visit either one of these locations, and you only need to place a total of four missing person signs to complete this Legendary quest. This will net you 30,000 XP, and you’ll be able to unlock more Battle Stars.

However, other players that are looking to earn some easy XP this week will also be visiting these places, so you might find yourself getting attacked by enemies. Be sure to tread carefully.
