How to reach High Rounds in Black Ops Cold War Zombies
Achieving high rounds in Black Ops Zombies has never been easier. Here’s how to achieve just that in Die Maschine.
High rounds in Call of Duty zombies has been a long standing competition across the community. With the introduction of Die Maschine, high rounds have become slightly easier for all, but not unless you have the right tools for the job.
The High Round Strategy
First of all, we’re going to need to setup. In order to start off, you’re going to want to grab the Gallo Shotgun by the plane wreckage, as it offers superior damage up until round 30 when pack-a-punched.
From here, you’re going to want to unlock the map, turn on pack-a-punch, level up your armor, and begin the quest to obtain the D.I.E. Shockwave.
Once you have the shockwave, you should be hunting down every perk on the map before you begin pack-a-punching your shotgun.
It is recommended you use the brain rot ammo mod with the shotgun, as the possessed zombie deals great damage to other zombies it attacks.
After you have the shotgun pack-a-punched, you can start your journey to upgrade the D.I.E. Shockwave.

After your chosen D.I.E. shockwave upgrade is complete, you can now start spinning at the mystery box for the ray gun, if you so choose. The ray gun is extremely hard to obtain, so waiting until you’re all set in game is your best bet.
This can take 40+ box spins and become frustrating, so if you’re not a patient person you can choose to keep the shotgun or swap it out with a Legendary grade Light Machine Gun or Assault Rifle if you prefer.
At higher rounds though, you may notice the Ray Gun is the best bet since you can destroy boss zombies in just a few shots vs spamming away with an Assault Rifle.
If you’re looking for additional ways to get the ray gun, you can perform the coffin dance easter egg, which gives you a chance at getting the weapon as a drop.
You can also break crystals in the Dark Aether for additional chances at one.
Once you’re all set up with all your equipment and weapons, head up to the plane crash site and start training zombies. Rounds will go by quickly and before you know it you’ll be mowing through rounds. If in a squad, you can divide up the map into sections and kill zombies in your selected areas.
