Fortnite’s Shadow of Phantasm Week is now live, and here’s how you can complete the new Quest that requires you to remain shrouded from a Shadow Bomb.
The v21.50 update brought significant changes to Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3, as the Suppressed SMG, Suppressed AR, Shadow Bomb, and Shield Bubble have all been unvaulted for the Shadow of Phantasm Week.

Where to find Shadow Bombs in Fortnite Phantasm Week
Shadow Bombs aren’t difficult to find as they can be acquired from chests and supply drops. You can also find one as ground loot when exploring the island during Fortnite Phantasm Week.
Using this throwable item will turn you into a “shadow”, making you a harder target to find. You can also stand beside walls and press the jump button twice to wall-jump. While you’re shrouded, you won’t be able to interact with items, use a harvesting tool, or fire weapons.
How to remain shrouded from a Shadow Bomb in Fortnite Phantasm Week Quest
For this Fortnite Phantasm Week Quest, you’ll need to remain shrouded from a single Shadow Bomb for 10 seconds. This seems tricky but you can easily get it done after heading to a steep cliff.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Find a steep cliff face
- Activate the Shadow Bomb
- Continuously jump off the cliff face without touching the ground
This will ensure that the Shadow Bomb remains active until you touch the ground, so keep doing this until at least 10 seconds have passed. Once this is done, the Quest will be marked as complete and you’ll earn 12,000 XP.
