Getting around the map quickly is a key to success in Black Ops Cold War, so here’s how to run faster and maximize your movement speed in multiplayer.

Being fast and unpredictable on the map is extremely important in Call of Duty. Not only can you reach Bomb Sites, Hardpoints, and Domination flags before the enemies can expect you to be there, but you can also be extremely difficult to track and hit in gunfights.

Black Ops Cold War offers players a plethora of attachments and perks to improve speed around the map. We’ve put together the attachments and perks you can use to run faster.

Does high FOV make you run faster?

It can often look like your favorite content creators and pros are moving faster than you when running around the map. This because their field of view is likely higher than yours, which gives the common misconception that having a higher FOV makes you move faster.

This is caused by your field of view being stretched which gives the optical illusion that you’re moving faster than you are. Having a high FOV gives several advantages but it won’t actually make you move any faster.
