How to sign up for Battlefield 2042 technical playtest
For those who are fans of the Battlefield franchise, there is indeed a way you can test the new installment if you’re lucky by getting access to the Battlefield 2042 technical playtest.
In recent months, we’ve had a decent amount of information concerning Battlefield 2042, from the in-game specialists to the map scale and modes players can expect.
With some fans pre-ordering the title to gain beta access, there is also another way for players to get their hands on the game early through the Battlefield 2042 technical playtest.
EA’s playtesting system allows players to play games early and test the latest builds to give the developers feedback.
Over on the EA website, they have all the information on the Battlefield 2042 technical playtest how you can sign up to have a chance of getting access.
How to sign up for Battlefield 2042 technical playtest
The first of the six Battlefiled 2042 playtests will be taking place next week, with sessions running from August 12 to August 15, according to a report by VGC.
The playtests will house “a few thousand participants” ahead of wider testing in the upcoming open beta scheduled for September.
Those who are interested in taking part in a Battlefield 2042 technical playtest will need to own either a PC, PS5 or Xbox Series X/S and will need to register through the EA Playtesting website.
Remember, this will not guarantee access to the Battlefield 2042 technical playtest but will put you in contention to be picked for one of the sessions, so if you’re truly interested, make sure you register fast.

The minimum and recommended PC system requirements for the Battlefield 2042 technical playtest have also been revealed.
