How to complete ‘With Great Power’ quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You have to complete four different puzzles with varying degrees of difficulty in order to successfully tick off the ‘With Great Power’ quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The With Great Power quest is a big one in the grand scheme of things as it allows you to release Ursula and have her become a regular member of the game, and help you obtain the Orb of Power.

Gem puzzle in With Great Power

Once you’ve entered the cave on Dazzle Beach, you’ll soon come across statues that need you to “Provide the gem that matches best to continue on your hero’s quest.”

This may seem a bit vague, but it’s quite straightforward as all you’ll need to do is head back into Dreamlight Valley and find the required gems, which we’ve listed for you below:

  • Blue gem statue: You need to acquire an Aquamarine gem that needs to be mined from mineral veins in Dazzle Beach and the Forest of Valor.
  • Green gem statue: You need to acquire a Peridot gem that needs to be mined from the mineral veins in Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach.
  • Red gem statue: You need to acquire a Garnet gem that needs to be mined from the mineral veins in Plaza and Peaceful Meadow.

Once you’ve got them all, simply return back to the cave and insert the gems into the appropriate statue to proceed.

Crops puzzle in With Great Power

Puzzle number two asks players to “Discover the right crops to grow to continue on below. One is underground, the other gold and brown. What remains is red and round.”

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Exit the cave.
  2. Go to Goofy’s shop.
  3. Purchase Carrot Seeds, Wheat Seeds, and Tomato Seeds.
  4. Return to the puzzle room.
  5. Plant the seeds, water them, and wait for them to grow into fully-fledged crops.
  6. Once harvested, the door will open.

Cooking puzzle in With Great Power

An intriguing one this, but to overcome the challenge of this room, you’ll simply need to cook a meal. A plaque opposite the oven in the room instructs players: “The final riddle, let it be known: to cook and eat what you have grown.”

Use your recently grown crops and put a carrot, wheat, and tomato into the pot, creating Veggie Pasta in the process, and you’ll now be on your way to the game’s fourth and final puzzle.

Orb puzzle in With Great Power

This is it, in order to hurdle the final challenge, Disney Dreamlight Valley players must carry out one final task: “One last thing and you can go. Catch the Orb that lies below.”

There isn’t anything convoluted about this objective, it just requires you to be adept with a fishing rod.

Equip the fishing rod and try to catch the magical orb from the depths below. Do so, and you will complete the ‘With Great Power’ quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
