How to stop freezing at Warzone Buy Stations
Warzone players have been repeatedly dying to a Buy Station glitch where the game locks them in place almost every time they open one. Luckily, there’s a simple way to avoid it happening to you.
Although Warzone players have been enjoying Vanguard’s weapons on the brand new map, the constant stream of bugs and glitches has been hampering the experience for many.
One of the most frustrating issues is the Buy Station freeze glitch, where Warzone completely freezes when players attempt to open Buy Station. Usually, Warzone comes back to life after about ten seconds, but sometimes it causes the game to crash completely.
However, there’s a surprisingly simple way to avoid the dreaded Buy Station freeze glitch.
How to avoid Warzone Buy Station freeze on Xbox, PlayStation & PC
As discovered by Call of Duty content creator ProReborn, don’t slide into Buy Stations or Loadout Drops as doing so will “crash or freeze your game.”
One player confirmed it worked for them, saying they “figured this out today.” Although there’s no guarantee it will work every time, it’s well worth trying out until Raven Software release an official fix.
It’s a force of habit for Warzone players to slide into Loadout Drops and Buy Stations to open them, but you’ll need to unlearn the habit for the time being as sliding will only get you stuck in place, forcing you to await your doom.
The next major Warzone update will be Season 2, which players are hoping will fix a ton of issues plaguing the game such as invisible skins, players redeploying with their loadout, and Xbox performance issues.
The Buy Station freezing glitch is on their Trello board as “under investigation,” so hopefully they get to the bottom of the issue soon.
