As you go through the Honkai Star Rail story, you’ll reach a point where you can change your Trailblazer’s element to Fire. We’ll go over how you can unlock Fire Trailblazer in Honkai Star Rail.

When you hop into Honkai Star Rail, you’ll play as Trailblazer, a character that learns new abilities as you progress through the main story, and you’ll receive a major upgrade after reaching a certain point.

How to unlock Honkai Star Rail Fire Trailblazer

Fire Trailblazer in Honkai Star Rail will be unlocked when you complete The Return quest after reaching Trailblazer Level 24. You’ll gain access to the Fire element when you reach a location called Everwinter Hill as you progress through the main story.

When you arrive in this area, you’ll have to complete a boss fight against Cocolia, and Fire Trailblazer will be unlocked during the battle. It will take hours of playing before you reach this point in the story so be ready to wait for a while.

Everwinter Hill is where you’ll unlock Fire Trailblazer in Honkai Star Rail.

Honkai Star Rail Fire Trailblazer abilities

Once you’ve unlocked the Fire Trailblazer, you can swap to the Fire element anytime in your Character Details menu. The Fire version of the main character has a Taunt ability that draws aggression from opponents.

The War-Flaming Lance is the ultimate move, and this deals damage that amounts to 50% of the Trailblazer’s attack along with 75% of the defense. Your basic attack charges up through Magma Will.
