How to unlock Fortnite Kratos skin & PS5 exclusive style

Fortnite’s new season has some shocking new skins that no one expected to see. Here’s how to unlock the Kratos skin in Fortnite Season 5.

With Chapter 2, Season 5 seemingly revolving around different hunters and iconic figures, it’s no surprise to the God of War himself, Kratos. To take control of the god slayer, read on to see how to unlock Kratos in Chapter 2, Season 5 of Fortnite.

The Fortnite community was left stunned after the shocking announcement of Kratos coming to the popular Battle Royale. Fortnite is no stranger to having famous names grace its shores, but a PlayStation exclusive icon like Kratos is something else.

It’s also quite odd to see one of the all-time most violent characters to be thrust into a world that is enjoyed by a younger audience. Regardless, the scarred and battered warrior is here, and here is how you can get your hands on him and his exclusive skin too.

Unlocking Kratos in Chapter 2, Season 5

Controlling the God of War won’t necessarily equate to more victories, but it’ll look damn cool to see 100 Kratos’ running around and saturating the lobby with the same skin. He will be available on ALL platforms – not just PlayStation – and is available right now.

To be a part of this new fad, you need to shell out 2 200 V-Bucks (Fortnite’s paid currency). In doing so, you will receive:

  • Kratos skin
  • Leviathan pickaxe
  • Mimir back-bling
  • A glider

If you aren’t quite willing to fork out that many V-Bucks for this set, but you desperately want to use Kratos, then you can simply pay 1, 500 V-Bucks and get the following:

  • Kratos skin
  • Mimir back-bling

PS5 exclusive style

In addition to these two Kratos bundles, PS5 players can earn an additional customizable style for your warrior by meeting certain conditions.

Follow these steps:

  1. Buy any bundle with the Kratos skin included
  2. Equip it
  3. Play a single match of Fortnite until completion on PS5
  4. You’ll then unlock the Armored Kratos Style

This shiny new look still features Kratos in all of his glory, but he’s now sporting a shiny gold armor piece over his top-half. We think he looks better like this, although we wouldn’t tell him otherwise even if we didn’t.

How to complete Fortnite Season 6 Week 6 challenges

Fortnite Season 6 has more weekly challenges for you to complete, so here’s how you can get them done quickly.

Fortnite Season 6, Week 6 challenges

The latest batch of Fortnite weekly Quests will be arriving soon, so here’s everything you have to do to earn a ton of XP in Season 6 Week 6.

Fortnite players have the opportunity to earn some extra XP by completing a series of weekly challenges in the Battle Pass. While Week 5’s challenges focused on new features like modding vehicles, things are different in Week 6.

The new challenges mainly revolve around a variety of different tasks like completing bounties, visiting different POIs on the map, and dishing out high amounts of damage with makeshift weapons.

Here’s how you can get these done.

Fortnite Season 6

Fortnite Season 6 Week 6 Quests

Thanks to the efforts of some Fortnite leakers, we can see what the Week 6 challenges will be before they go live on Thursday, April 22 at 9am EST/ 2pm BST.

Here’s the full list of Fortnite Season 6 Week 6 Quests:

  • Open safes (3)
  • Complete bounties (3)
  • Reach max shields in different matches (3)
  • Stay within 20m of a player for 3 seconds while wearing a prop disguise (3)
  • Hit from 50m or greater with a bow (1)
  • Complete the swimming time trial at Weeping Woods or Coral Castle (1)
  • Visit Fancy View, Rainbow Rentals, and Lockie’s Lighthouse (1)

Turning into a prop is a new addition in Season 6, and you can do it by visiting NPCs that sell this ability. Luckily, you can find many of these around the map, but we recommend heading to Crustina since she has the least amount of player traffic around her.

You can find her in the Pizza Pit just north of Colossal Crops. She’s the giant tomato standing behind the counter. Interact with her, and spend 75 Gold Bars to get the ability. If you don’t have that amount yet then there are various ways to earn it.

You can reach max shields by finding and consuming shield potions in a single match. Then all you need to do is repeat that process during two other matches to complete this Epic Quest.

Fortnite’s v16.20 update brought two new bows to the battle royale, and you can use the Splinter Bow to hit your foe from a distance of 50m or more. This weapon will deal 100 damage to targets, making it a useful tool to have in your inventory

We’ll make a separate guide on completing the swimming time trial at Weeping Woods or Coral Castle once that challenge goes live. Completing each of these Epic Quests will net you 24,000 XP, as usual

There is also a Legendary Quest to complete for extra XP, which requires you to deal damage with makeshift weapons. You can craft these by using mechanical parts, but they deal low damage and hold low ammo, so make each shot count.

The whole challenge consists of five stages, and you’ll get 35,000 XP for completing the first, and 24,500 for the rest. You’ll have a limited time period within which you can complete this Legendary Quest, so be sure to hop to it.

That covers everything for Week 6! We’ll update this article with more information after the challenges go live, so stay tuned!

Fortnite leak reveals Deathstroke skin likely coming soon

Some new Fortnite leaks have emerged which point to the arrival of DC’s Deathstroke to the battle royale in Season 6.

Deathstroke in Fortnite

Data miners have discovered that Deathstroke will be the next DC Comics character that Epic Games will add to Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6 in the upcoming Batman crossover.

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5 introduced some major crossovers to the battle royale, including franchises like Predator, and The Walking Dead. Now, Season 6 has already brought Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft and Rebirth Raven in the Battle Pass.

Epic Games are set on bringing another major DC Comics character to The Island, in the form of the supervillain Deathstroke. He will be part of the highly-anticipated Batman crossover, and here’s what we know so far.

Deathstroke from Justice League

Deathstroke skin confirmed for Fortnite Season 6

This information came from notable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR. Epic Games confirmed that we’d be getting a brand new crossover in the form of a series of six comic books titled Batman x Fortnite: Zero Point.

Each of these issues will come with a redeemable code that grants you access to an exclusive DC-themed skin or cosmetic, and the data miner shared the cover of the fourth issue. It features the villain alongside Catwoman and Batman.

ShiinaBR then wrote that Deathstroke is “100% becoming a skin in Season 6,” so we can expect to see him arrive soon.

The data miner also previously leaked a new Rebirth Harley Quinn skin variant for the game, along with a Batman Point Armored skin which is reportedly set to ship in April.

Deathstroke Glider coming soon

On April 16, 2021, some new leaks emerged which confirmed Deathstroke will also be getting a glider in the game. These came from Fortnite data miners iFireMonkey and FNAssist, who stated that the glider will be a reward for purchasing Issue #4 of the crossover comic.

At the time of writing, it’s not clear how the skin be given to players. It might be a reward for buying issue, as with the Harley Quinn skin. However, at this point it’s just pure speculation, and Deathstroke might become available through other means.

That’s not all, as Epic Games will also be bringing some additional DC content aside from the new skins. There is mass speculation that the Batcave will be added to the Fortnite Season 6 map as a brand-new POI.

We’ll keep checking for any more announcements and updates regarding the Batman crossover in Fortnite Season 6. Once we hear something noteworthy, we’ll be sure to let you know.

You’ll find plenty that can surprise you the next time to jump into a match of Fortnite, as Epic Games are always introducing new content. This ranges from crossover skins with other franchises like Predator, to tamable Raptors.

However, fans usually only enjoy surprises when they don’t include horrible technical glitches that ruin the game Now, a new one has emerged which is flipping player’s screens horizontally, and it’s particularly frustrating.

Fortnite glitch is flipping players’ screens

Reddit user powerGladius posted a clip showcasing their encounter with this glitch in the middle of a match. They were just enjoying the game, and then the screen spontaneously flipped and locked sideways.

While this may seem amusing initially, it soon became clear that it would keep happening even when they tried to join other games. It’s far less fun to play Fortnite when you need to constantly keep your neck on your shoulders.

The comments were filled to the brim with other players that had also encountered this issue, and they were demanding that Epic Games issue a fix for this issue.

Even pro players like Thiago ‘K1nG’ Lapp of FaZe Clan Brazil and ‘Snow’ from Falcons Gaming have vented about their experience with this glitch. This means that this issue is widespread, and can happen to any player.

There is no doubt that Epic Games will end up investigating this issue, and then coming up with a permanent fix for it. However, they’ve not acknowledged it at the time of writing, so they might not know about it yet.

We’ll keep checking for any updates regarding this situation. Once the devs announce a proper fix for the bug, we’ll be sure to update you.
