How to unlock GS Magna Desert Eagle in Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded
ActivisionThe Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded update brings the new GS Magna sidearm, a fully-automatic version of the Desert Eagle. Here’s how to unlock the GS Magna in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded.
The arrival of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 brought two powerful new weapons for players to try out. From the Cronen Squall Battle Rifle to the iconic Intervention, both have gone on to become meta guns in multiplayer, Al Mazrah and Ashika Island.
Now, with Season 3 Reloaded almost here, the devs have officially revealed two new handguns looking to become the go-to secondaries. One of these is the GS Magna, a full-auto version of the .50 GS Desert Eagle that players know and love.
Here’s how to unlock the GS Magna in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded.
How to unlock GS Magna in Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2
The GS Magna is unlocked by getting 30 headshot kills with the .50 GS in either Warzone 2 or Modern Warfare 2 during Season 3 Reloaded. Alternatively, it can also be purchased from the CoD Store if you’d prefer to unlock it right away.
This challenge may prove difficult on the larger maps of Warzone 2, so we recommend switching to multiplayer to make life easier for yourself.
Playlists like Shoot the Ship or Shipment 24/7 are guaranteed to put players on close-range maps, where you can make the most of the .50 GS’s huge damage to score one-shot kills with headshots quickly.
If you’re wondering whether or not the GS Magna is worth the grind, check out the dev’s official description of the Pistol: “This fully automatic .50 GS boasts a thunderous rate of fire and enough power to put an end to anyone foolish enough to cross your path. Hold down the trigger and let this .50 Cal speak for itself.”
The Season 3 Reloaded blog also confirmed that the GS Magna comes with many of the same attachments as the .50 GS, including Akimbo.
However, the tradeoff is that this deadly Handgun has a lot of recoil to control, but the devs teased that those capable of keeping it in check will be “handsomely rewarded with a secondary that can easily compete at extreme-close ranges.”
