Despite the constant influx of new Melee Weapons each season, the Kali Sticks are still one of the community’s favorite, go-to weapons to get stuff done. Here’s how to unlock the Kali Sticks to use in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare.

Many players get the same joy from using Melee Weapons like the Battle Axe as they do a popular weapon like the Cold War AK-47. This is why the Kali Sticks are still a great weapon to use, and newcomers are always looking to use them.

However, especially with newbies, not everyone knows how to equip these powerful, bludgeoning tools.

So we’ve put together a useful little guide to show you how to unlock the Kali Sticks in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare.

How to unlock Kali Sticks in Warzone

To unlock the Kali Sticks in Warzone, players just need to simply meet the following requirement: “Using the Knife, get 3 Kills while sliding in 15 different matches.

Now, from the outset, this may look like a difficult challenge, especially if you’re just playing regular battle royale.

However, with the plethora of different modes that Warzone and Modern Warfare have to offer, we’d recommend you attempt to complete the challenge requirements elsewhere.

Tips to complete Kali Sticks unlock challenge in Warzone & Modern Warfare

There are two ways you can go about this: either play one of Warzone’s other modes that feature respawning or play Modern Warfare.

Here are our suggestions for each game.

Modern Warfare Kali Sticks unlock tips

  • Modern Warfare features smaller maps and is a much easier proposition to unlock these handy Melee tools. If there’s a playlist that features Shipment or Shoot House then it would be ideal.
  • Try and customize your playlist to pick constant motion game modes as Search & Destroy and Cyber Attack are not suited to this challenge.
  • Have Double Time equipped and make sure you’re constantly moving and sliding as you never know when an enemy might just turn up.
  • Use in-game information such as UAVs and make sure you’re keeping on top of this data as you don’t want useful breaks like this to disappear.

  • You’ll need to play some of Warzone’s faster game modes such as Plunder, Payload, and Clash to speed this process up.
  • Again, have Double Time as your first Perk to increase the duration of your Tactical Sprint.
  • Unlike Modern Warfare, we’d recommend you choose your moments to slide as Warzone is generally more open, an opportunities will beore limited – be smart.

Hopefully, our guide and tips will help you to obtain a Kali Stick for each hand so that you can engage clobbering time on any unsuspecting enemies.

Dr Disrespect calls Warzone’s anti-cheat the “biggest PR scandal” in gaming

The Doc has shared his views on Warzone’s anti-cheat, claiming that RICOCHET was just a “PR stunt” for Call of Duty.

Hershal Beahm aka ‘Dr Disrespect’ has shared his opinion about Warzone’s anti-cheat technology, RICOCHET, calling it the “biggest PR scandal” in gaming.

Popular streamer Dr Disrespect is not shy of criticizing the Call of Duty franchise, especially when it comes to Warzone.

Not only did the 2x champion recently share his worries about the Modern Warfare 2’s engine, even claiming that it doesn’t match the engine being used for his battle royale, but he has also shared his thoughts on RICOCHET.

Warzone’s anti-cheat was implemented to eradicate the severe cheating issue in Warzone, but Dr Disrespect feels as if it is the “biggest PR scandal” in the gaming industry.

ricochet anti-cheat warzone

The RICOCHET anti-cheat system was introduced for Warzone to combat the abundance of cheaters and hackers in the battle royale.

Some feel as if it has worked in reducing the number of cheaters and effectively disarming many of them while cheating in-game by making their bullets do no damage.

Dr Disrespect tweeted out his views on Warzone’s RICOCHET anti-cheat system on June 29, questioning if RICOCHET is the “biggest PR scandal in video game history,” which is similar to his recent opinion that marketing is saving Call of Duty.

Dr Disrespect spoke about his opinion more on his June 29 stream while playing Escape from Tarkov. The Doc said that RICOCHET was a “phony a** PR stunt.”

The streamer goes on to say that he “can’t believe people are actually responding with RICOCHET saying it’s worked…they probably hired like five guys…let’s wake the f*** up man.”

Clearly, the 2x doesn’t believe Warzone’s RICOCHET anti-cheat is deserving of praise. It seems the streamer believes the anti-cheat was just a PR stunt to make the players believe that something drastic was being done to deter and deal with the cheaters and hackers in Warzone.

Although Dr Disrespect doesn’t provide much context behind his opinion, it did spark a debate in the comments of his Twitter post.

One user disagrees, stating “its honestly worked well,” while others agree with the Doc, “He’s correct. For a major AAA company to be plagued with a variety of issues it’s pathetic. It’s embarrassing.”

Clearly, there is a divide in the community between those who feel RICOCHET has been effective, and those who feel it hasn’t. Hopefully, Warzone 2 can improve on the dealings with cheaters and hackers for an overall better quality experience, but the Doc has doubts about that as well.

How to get the “new Roze” Night Terror Florence skin in Warzone & Vanguard

Here’s how to get the Night Terror Florence skin in Warzone & Vanguard following comparisons to the iconic Roze skin.

Night Terror Skin Warzone Vanguard

It’s been some time since an Operator skin has shaken up Warzone but the Night Terror Florence skin, which many are calling the new Roze skin, has the potential to do so. Here’s how to get the Violet Stealth bundle in Warzone and Vanguard.

When the Roze skin was at the height of its power, it tormented Warzone lobbies one match after another. Due to the skin’s all-black outfit, it blended in easily with the surroundings and made it hard for enemies to spot before it received a decisive nerf.

In Season 4, a Warzone and Vanguard bundle highlights a similar skin that has made its way to Call of Duty with the Violet Stealth bundle. The Night Terror Florence skin shares many similarities to the Roze skin, so here’s everything you need to know about it.

How to get Night Terror Florence skin in Warzone & Vanguard

Violet Stealth bundle Warzone Vanguard

To get your hands on the Night Terror skin, you’ll have to purchase the Violet Stealth bundle. Following the Warzone update that nerfed the NZ-41 on June 30, the Violet Stealth bundle is available to purchase.

Despite the June 30 release, the bundle has yet to appear in the Vanguard and Warzone store in-game. Here’s where PC, Xbox, and PlayStation players can purchase the bundle.

Given the competitive advantage it might bring, you won’t want to miss the Violet Stealth bundle in Warzone and Vanguard Season 4.

It seems you’ll have to dish out $19.99 / £16.79 for the Vanguard and Warzone bundle and here’s what you’ll receive in exchange:

  • Night Terror Florence skin
  • Violet Violence Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle blueprint
  • Dark Ambient MP40 blueprint
  • Midnight Malice calling card
  • Hooded Hell emblem
  • Neon Artistry sticker
  • Funeral Director watch
  • Inscribed reticle
  • 2,400 CoD Points

Not only is the Night Terror skin expected to be a powerful cosmetic in-game, but the MP40 is a meta weapon in both Warzone and Vanguard, which further sweetens the deal.

Both the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle and MP40 blueprints will come equipped with neon purple tracer rounds that tie into the Violet Stealth aesthetic. The 2,400 CoD Points are a nice touch as a bonus you could use on another bundle.

Warzone Pacific June 30 patch notes: NZ-41 & H4 Blixen nerfs, Lootable Perks on Fortune’s Keep, more

Warzone devs Raven Software have released an update on June 30 that brings Lootable Perks to Fortune’s Keep, finally nerfs the NZ-41, and buffs some of Vanguard’s Sniper Rifles. Here are the full Warzone June 30 update patch notes.

Warzone players have been crying out for the NZ-41 to be nerfed ever since it became the most popular weapon in Season 3 Reloaded. This change has finally arrived with Season 4‘s June 30 update, which also nerfs the most popular Assault Rifle attachments, nerfs SMGs, and buffs Vanguard Snipers.

Here’s everything included in Warzone’s June 30 update patch notes.

Major Warzone weapons nerfs: NZ-41, H4 Blixen, more

A ton of the most popular and powerful weapons have been nerfed in Warzone’s June 30 update, with nerfs to the NZ-41, H4 Blixen, Marco 5, and UGM-8 having the biggest impact.

The NZ-41 has had its torso damage and recoil control nerfed, so it should no longer be the long-range laser beam it once was. It’s not just the NZ-41 that’ll be affected by the June 30 patch though, as Lengthened Ammo, the MX Silencer, and m1941 Hand Stop have all been nerfed.

The UGM-8 was set to become meta thanks to “insane TTK,” but it seems Raven nipped that in the bud by nerfing its bullet velocity and damage. The top SMGs, the H4 Blixen and Marco 5, have also had their damage range and mobility reduced.

It’s not all bad news for Vanguard’s Warzone guns though, as the 3-Line, Kar98k, and Type 99 have all had their bullet velocity increased.
