The M13B Assault Rifle has arrived in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1, so here’s how to unlock the fan-favorite M13 in both Call of Duty games.

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1 are officially live. Like any CoD season, there are new weapons to unlock and master, and Season 1 brings a returning favorite back — the M13 Assault Rifle.

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2’s M13B sounds almost exactly the same as the original version, featuring a “short-stroke piston system that allows for a high rate of fire and low recoil.”

Here’s how you’ll be able to unlock the M13B Assault Rifle in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1.

The M13B Assault Rifle can be unlocked by either purchasing a Store Bundle containing it or via a DMZ Weapon Unlock Challenge.

The DMZ unlock requirements for the M13B are as follows: “Unlock by defeating The Chemist in the Radiation Zone of DMZ and extracting his dropped weapon.

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1’s launch on November 16 will usher in a new era of CoD by welcoming the extraction-based DMZ mode. Along with a raft of other DMZ mode rewards to bring home, it seems that the M13B will be one of the main prizes for now.

The M13B is part of the Bruen Ops Platform alongside the Battle Pass’ BAS-P SMG, so there’s a chance you’ll need to unlock the SMG first and level it up. Then, the Chimera Assault Rifle arrives in the same Platform with the mid-season update – Season 1 Reloaded.

The devs confirmed that all of the Season 1 weapons will include new camos that can be applied to any weapon and will count towards the Orion Mastery Camo grind, which will only be made easier by the arrival of Hardcore and Shoot the Ship.

Modern Warfare and Warzone’s M13 was loved for its low recoil and fast fire rate, and if the M13B is similar, it’s sure to be a favorite in Al Mazrah throughout Warzone 2.
