Warzone and Vanguard Season 4 is almost here, bringing brand new weapons to multiplayer, Zombies, and Battle Royale. Players will be able to dual-wield the “highly mobile” Marco 5 SMG in Season 4, so here’s how to unlock it.

Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 4 is almost here, bringing the brand-new Fortune’s keep map to Battle Royale and WWII’s USS Texas to multiplayer. Like any Call of Duty season, there are new weapons to unlock.

For Season 4, it’s the Marco 5 SMG, UGM-8 LMG, Push Dagger, and Vargo-S Assault Rifle. The Marco 5 is set to be devastating at close-range thanks to its Akimbo Proficiency, so here’s how to unlock it in both Vanguard and Warzone Season 4.

How to unlock Marco 5 SMG in Warzone & Vanguard

The Marco 5 SMG arrives in Warzone and Vanguard for free at tier 15 of the Season 4 Battle Pass. All you need to do is progress to tier 15 of the Season 4 Battle Pass and the Marco 5 is yours.

Once Season 4 has finished, there will be an SMG-based unlock challenge where those who never ranked up the Battle Pass will be able to unlock it.

The devs described the Marco as a “highly mobile” SMG that’s “accurate from the hip with excellent close-range stopping power.” This hip-fire accuracy will be especially useful for those who want to dual-wield the Marco, as it’s the first Vanguard SMG with the Akimbo Proficiency.

If the time to kill is anything like the akimbo Diamattis or akimbo Sykovs that dominated Verdansk, Warzone’s close-range meta is about to undergo serious change.
