Season 4 will be bringing a group of new weapons for players to use, with one of these new firearms being the OTs 9 SMG, so here is how you can unlock the OTs 9 in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
There is currently a great deal of excitement in the Call of Duty community, as players anxiously await all of the content revealed in the official Season 4 roadmap for Warzone and Black Ops Cold War to be added to the popular games.
A large portion of this new content is the new weapons players can acquire and level up for future battles. One of these new Season 4 weapons is the OTs 9 SMG, which will undoubtedly be exciting to try out, like the C58 Assault Rifle, MG 82 LMG, and Nail Gun.
With this in mind, here is how you can unlock the OTs 9 SMG in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
How to Unlock OTs 9 in Warzone and Cold War
Players will find two different ways to unlock the OTs 9 SMG in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. These are either completing in-game challenges or purchasing a store bundle. You can find the unlock challenges for this SMG below:
- Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer: Using SMGs, kill 3 enemies affected by your Tactical Equipment in 15 different completed matches.
- Warzone: Using SMGs, kill 2 or more players rapidly in 15 different completed matches.
- Black Ops Cold War Zombies: Using SMGs, kill 50 Tempests within 2 seconds of them reappearing after teleporting.
This follows the same manner as previous seasons where weapons arrived following the start of a new period of content, such as the CARV.2 Tactical Rifle from Season 3.
How to get Undercover Agent OTs 9 Inside Job Bundle Blueprint in Warzone & Cold War
Players will also unlock the OTs 9 in Warzone and Cold War by purchasing the Inside Job bundle in the in-game store for 1,200 COD Points, which will grant you the Undercover Agent blueprint for the weapon you can use immediately.
According to the official description of this SMG, it boasts “great stopping power and a phenomenal rate of fire” and is only “hindered only by its low magazine capacity of 20 rounds.”
“Those who control its recoil will find it can work well in individual engagements, and with available magazine attachments, it holds its own in squad fights,” according to the official description of this weapon.
There is no doubt that plenty of players will be excited to unlock the OTs 9 in Warzone and Cold War and see what it has to offer on the battlefield.

How to make Custom Blueprints with Cold War & Warzone’s Gunsmith Customs
With Gunsmith Customs, Cold War and Warzone lets you mix and match Blueprint attachments, so here’s how to make your own custom Blueprint.
The Gunsmith Customs system is available in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, so here’s how to create your own custom Blueprints with this fan-favorite feature.
Gunsmith Customs and custom Blueprints were added to Modern Warfare and Warzone in April 2020, much to fans’ appreciation. You can also do it in Cold War, and with Cold War’s weapons in Warzone. With this feature, you can mix and match all of the Blueprint attachments for a weapon type, creating a brand new weapon Blueprint that’s unique to you.
For example, if you want to build a custom Krig 6, you can combine the barrel from the Confrontation Blueprint with the magazine from the Samurai’s Creed and the stock from the Go Getter. You can then save it as a custom Blueprint, name it, and then you can find it amongst all of your other purchased Blueprints.
How to use Custom Blueprint Mods in Black Ops Cold War
Arriving in Cold War’s mid-Season 2 update, players can now create and save several of their own custom Blueprints. This not only allows you to quickly access your crazy Blueprint combinations but also makes it easier to access your favorite loadouts without having to build them every time.
Making and saving these custom Blueprints is quite simple, so here’s how to do it:
- Launch Black Ops Cold War
- Select the ‘Weapons’ tab
- Choose your weapon
- Hover over the attachment you wish to equip
- Select the Gunsmith icon beside the attachment
- Choose the attachment style from your owned Blueprints
- Save and rename your custom Blueprint
Now, when creating a weapon class, you’ll be able to equip your custom Blueprint like you would any other. When you go to select your weapon, the custom Blueprint will be there alongside all of the other Blueprints you own.
If you wish to keep the weapon’s tracer fire or Mastercraft effects, you’ll need to equip that Blueprint as the base before customizing. By doing this, you can keep the blue tracer fire, but use the attachment styles from a completely different weapon, making a gun that’s entirely personalized to your style.
How to use Custom Blueprint Mods in Cold War Zombies
This also works in Black Ops Cold War Zombies. By building and saving a custom Blueprint, you can access it in rounds of Outbreak or regular Zombies such as Season 4’s Mauer Der Toten, so you can always have the attachments and look you desire.
For example, you spawn in with the M1911 for that classic Zombies experience. Then after you purchase a Gallo SA12 from the wall, you can apply either a regular Blueprint or Custom Mod to the weapon that applies all of your pre-selected attachments.
Here’s how to do it:
- Load into a game of Cold War Zombies
- Either purchase your favorite weapon from the wall or get it from a Mystery Box
- Pause the game
- Select ‘Apply Blueprint’
- Navigate over to ‘Custom Mods’
- Choose the Custom Blueprint you wish to apply
This will give you not only the attachments of your choice but also the Mastery Camos you’ve grinded for.
How to use Custom Blueprint Mods in Warzone
Battle royale fans were disappointed that you couldn’t create Custom Blueprints for Cold War weapons in Warzone when the game first integrated. Raven Software has now added that function, so you can now have several Custom Blueprints at the ready when building your favorite loadouts.
Here’s how to build and use Custom Blueprint Mods in Warzone:
- Launch Call of Duty: Warzone
- Go to the ‘Weapons’ tab and press ‘Edit Loadout’
- Build your ideal weapon loadout
- Click ‘Save a Custom Mod’ at the bottom of the screen
- Rename and save your Custom Blueprint!
And to then access that Custom Blueprint:
- Click ‘Edit Loadout’
- Hover over the weapon you wish to use
- Select ‘Armory’ beside the weapon
- Choose either a regular Blueprint or your own Custom Blueprint
With Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 5 arriving soon, there will be a ton more weapon Blueprints arriving in both the store and the new Battle Pass. So, you’ll get more and more weapon customization options as the seasons progress.

Cold War players want unique Numbers Broadcast Scorestreak idea in Season 5
A Cold War player has come up with an inventive Scorestreak that would play on the Numbers theme of Black Ops Cold War Season 5.
One player has come up with a clever Scorestreak idea that would turn friendly players hostile in Black Ops Cold War Season 5, playing on the Numbers theme to manipulate players.
Needless to say that Call of Duty Scorestreaks generally fall into one of a few different categories. You’ve got defensive ones like the Air Patrol, ground weapons like the Hand Cannon or Bow, and all-out aerial dominators like the VTOL, Chopper Gunner, and Gunship.
It’s rare that a new concept lights up streaks, but one player may have come up with an ingenious one. They have mentioned the possibility of using mind control to warp the enemy team and create chaos on the inside.
The idea comes courtesy of the Black Ops Cold War subreddit and they name the Scorestreaks as “Numbers Broadcast.”
Here is the official description of what they think the Scorestreak would involve. “When activated, the sleeper agents will rise, thus some soldiers on the enemy team will have their friendlies show up as enemies in red on the map and friendly fire will be enabled.
“In a franchise this old and frequent, brand new streaks that work in new ways are rare to find, and this is the perfect opportunity to have one.”
It sounds like a unique idea, and one that might need to be one of the game’s pricier Scorestreaks, given how it could basically lock players out.
It could either mean you’d have to be temporarily wary of every player in the game, or the A.I could even take control of a select number of teammates on a team.
Either way, with Black Ops’ history of psychological manipulation, this might be a streak tailor-made for Call of Duty.
