How to unlock the Neymar skin in Fortnite Season 6
The Fortnite Season 6 update has brought PSG superstar Neymar Jr. as an exclusive skin for players to unlock, and here’s how you can get your hands on it.
When the v16.00 update arrived on March 16, it brought a plethora of new content to Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6. This includes brand new styles for Jonesy, and now there’s been confirmation of another exciting skin for the game.
Epic Games will be bringing Brazil football icon Neymar Jr. to the battle royale. He was confirmed to be part of the latest major patch days before it dropped, and you will be able to unlock him by following a few simple steps.
How to unlock Neymar skin in Fortnite
Neymar will be a secret skin that you can unlock by completing certain challenges in the Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass. This is similar to the Predator that was introduced in the previous season.
How to complete Neymar Jr Fortnite challenges
Here’s every Neymar Jr challenge, along with its respective reward:
- Talk to an island soccer player (Soccer Ball Emote Toy and a Neymar Jr Banner)
- Complete 3 quests from island soccer players (Neymar Jr-themed Matador Loading Screen)
- Complete 5 quests from island soccer players (Neymar Jr skin)
- Dropkick the soccer ball toy 500 meters as Neymar Jr (Joia Trophy Back Bling)
- Score a goal with the soccer ball toy as Neymar Jr (Jaguar Strike Pickaxe)
- Eliminate 3 opponents as Neymar Jr (Shh Emote, a built-in Emote for Neymar Jr that awakens one of his primal forms)
Once these challenges go live, head to the Battle Pass Screen to find them. While the original Season 6 teaser images showed his jersey number, he will have a green and yellow design in the game.
Fortnite Neymar skin release time
Epic Games have officially confirmed that Neymar’s skin will be releasing mid-season as part of the Battle Pass on April 27, 2021.
The original Season 6 teaser images foreshadowed his arrival by showing off his jersey number. The devs also added several footballer NPCs across the map as part of the March 30 update.
One notable example is Webster’s robotic duck, whose eye was featured in the original teaser image. Some of these NPCs will be wearing soccer shirts as well.
