Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence Legends tier list

Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence has brought changes to the Legend meta, so let’s take a look at how the tier list shapes up.

Apex Legends latest Season 10: Emergence patch has introduced various Legend changes that have shifted the meta yet again. Let’s take a look at how the tier list now shapes up.

Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence has introduced many changes into the game, from Decimated World’s Edge to the return of Disrupter Rounds.

Like every new season, we have also seen some new weapon changes, as well as buffs and nerfs to various Legends, but how do these changes shift the Legend meta?

Apex Legends tier list

We thought it would be great to compile the Legends and show off what we think the tier list looks like in the current Apex Legends update, showing just how much the patch notes have changed things.

Remember, this list is based on a Legend’s performance in the battle royale mode, not Ranked Leagues or the Arenas mode. If you’re interested in Arenas, check out our article for the best Legends to use in the 3v3 mode.

The tier system:

  • S-Tier Legends are the best
  • A-Tier are amazing in their own right
  • B-Tier Legends are just missing something
  • C-Tier are Legends that are in need of a buff

Apex Legends Legend tier list

  • S-Tier: Seer, Gibraltar, Wraith, Bangalore, Valkyrie
  • A-Tier: Pathfinder, Octane, Horizon, Caustic, Revenant, Bloodhound
  • B-Tier: Fuse, Rampart, Wattson, Lifeline
  • C-Tier: Crypto, Loba, Mirage

To sum up the tier list, the recent changes to Caustic and the introduction of Seer have really shifted the meta this season. As well as this, Fuse becomes more viable due to his buff, and some Legends like Bangalore remain unchanged and thus just as strong as they’ve ever been.

Further, Revenant’s slight change and Octane’s secret nerf are simply not enough to stop the RevTane strategy so many teams find success with. The Season 9 Legend remains very strong and high up on the tier list due to her lack of changes and balanced but strong kit.

Bloodhound remains top tier, but it will be interesting to see how far Seer will take his place in the competitive scene, especially with pros stating recently that Seer could potentially change the meta the most.

Best Legends in Apex Legends Season 9: Legacy

Valkyrie

Apex Legends tier list Valkyrie

Valkyrie has great offensive capabilities with her tactical and passive, flying around and stun people while they are either trying to run away or hide.

These abilities are also great for when you’re on the defensive, as well as being able to easily duck out of an unwanted fight with the VTOL Jets and prevent people pushing you with the Missile Swarm.

Further, her ultimate Skyward Dive is arguably the best rotation tool in the game now, taking over Octane’s Launch Pad. This ultimate is great for finding out where enemy teams are as well, as Valkyrie’s passive includes the ability to scan and highlight enemies in her FOV while skydiving.

Wraith

 wraith

Wraith is once again Apex Legends’ strongest offensive Legend. Wraith has always been a meta character due to her extremely useful tactical and ultimate.

Changes to her hitbox and Low Profile have held her back in recent seasons. However, as the devs finally decided to remove Low Profile from the game, Wraith is back at the top.

Wraith’s ability to duck in and out of a fight with her tactical, Into the Void, is extremely useful in the battle royale, increasing her survivability as a teammate. Further, Dimensional Rift is one of the best rotation tools in the late game, allowing her and the team to get to better positions safely.

Seer

apex legends seer

The Season 10 Legend, Seer, has definitely created waves among the Apex Legends community already, despite being released not too long ago.

Seer’s abilities are based on giving him and his team information on the enemy’s location, detecting their heartbeat and scanning their position.

Further, he also has an interruption dimension to his tactical ability, which prevents enemies from healing and reviving, giving Seer an extra edge over Bloodhound. This is very strong and can be the reason Seer and his team can dominate and put pressure on enemy teams.

Lastly, His ultimate causes enemy teams to change their playstyle and alter their game plan, as once in the sphere, Seer and his team can detect their footsteps and gain the advantage over them by knowing their locations, getting the jump on them for the first shot.

Gibraltar

apex legends gibraltar

Since the game was released, Gibraltar is a Legend who has remained at the top of tier lists, being the staple of pretty much every team in the ALGS tournament. Gibraltar is by far the strongest defensive character in the game, with all of his abilities defensively aiding the team and being used offensively.

His Dome of Protection is probably his most important piece of kit, allowing the team to push up or protect themselves from a push with the protection it provides. Further, what makes it even more useful is the faster revive Gibraltar can perform to teammates while inside the dome.

Gibraltar’s ultimate, Defensive Bombardment, is also great for stopping an enemy’s push and being aggressive, dealing huge damage to those caught within it. His passive is also great for taking on enemies, especially in 1v1 situations, as his Gun Shield gives him extra health.

That’s all for our Legend tier list for Season 10: Emergence of Apex Legends. For more, check out our article on Seer’s Lil Nas X influence.

Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence weapon tier list

Apex Legends Season 10: Emergency has brought a heap of changes in the patch notes, some of which have influenced a new Apex Legends weapon tier list.

apex legends weapon tier list

Apex Legends players have had plenty of time with the new content in Season 10: Emergence, and just like any season, the changes in the recent patch notes have definitely influenced the weapon meta. Let’s get into it and see which weapons are at the top of the Apex Legends weapon tier list.

The Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence update has seen players experience various changes to the weapons and Legends.

As well as a whole new Recon Legend called Seer joining the fight, Respawn has also introduced buffs and nerfs to the weapons, which, of course, have once again shifted the meta.

apex legends rampage LMG

As it’s a new season, we thought it would be helpful to compose a tier list for all the weapons in Emergence, as well as the best weapons in each class, so let’s jump into it.

The tier system:

  • S-Tier weapons are the best
  • A-Tier are amazing in their own right
  • B-Tier weapons are just missing something
  • C-Tier are weapons that players should avoid

Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence weapon tier list

  • S-Tier: R-301, Alternator, Rampage, Spitfire, Kraber, Wingman
  • A-Tier: Flatline, Prowler, R-99, Volt, L-Star, G7 Scout, Triple Take, Eva-8, Sentinel, Charge Rifle
  • B-Tier: Havoc, Hemlock, 30-30 Repeater, Bocek Bow, Mastiff, Peacekeeper, Longbow
  • C-Tier: Mozambique, P2020, RE-45

Best weapons in Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence

The proceeding list is the best weapons in the current Apex Legends meta for each class, excluding the care package weapons.

The Triple Take, Kraber, Alternator, and Spitfire are all-powerful, but you won’t find them in most games, hence their exclusion.

Best LMG – Rampage

After receiving multiple nerfs in Season 9 and ultimately being put in the care package for Season 10, the Spitfire has made way for the new Rampage LMG to take center stage. The Rampage makes for a great medium to long-range weapon with a large mag, high damage, and a slow fire rate.

Like most new weapons that get put into the game, the Rampage is currently very powerful, so take advantage of it while it lasts. The best thing about the weapon is the option to charge it up with a Thermite Grenade, which speeds up its fire rate and allows you to break doors just by shooting them.

When charged up, the weapon becomes even more deadly as it can be used at closer ranges. However, this weapon definitely excels at longer distances, especially as it has hardly any recoil.

This is why the Rampage takes the top stop for us as the best LMG in Season 10 of Apex Legends, as its ability to do such high, consistent damage at range and the option to speed up its fire rate for closer ranges makes it very strong.

Best SMG – Prowler

Since the Alternator was put in the care package this season, the Prowler has returned to floor loot. Those who remember the Prowler are a great close-range burst SMG that can absolutely destroy the enemy.

With a 5 round burst, the Prowler has the potential to put out some serious damage per second if you can hit your shots. Although the select-fire hop-up has been removed and players can only use the Prowler in burst mode, it actually performs better in the burst mode, and if players get used to hitting shots, it can be very strong.

Of course, at close range, the weapon shreds and is even very accurate when firing from the hip. The recoil is also very easy to control, especially with attachments, and the Prowler works great with a 2x Bruiser to make sure you’re hitting those shots even from some range.

The ability to burst someone down from close and medium-range while also having the versatility to maintain accuracy while hip firing makes the Prowler the best SMG in the Emergence update.

Best AR – R-301

Apex Legends Legacy weapons r301

The R-301 is the most reliable weapon in Apex Legends Emergence and has been for a while now. Not only is the recoil extremely easy to control for those longer ranged engagements, but the R-301 also has a great fire rate and hip-fire accuracy for those closer ranged battles.

The R-301 is always a great weapon to pick up and allows you to be more experimental with your secondary, as you can use it as a closer or longer-ranged weapon.

Best Sniper – Sentinel

sentinel

Although the Longbow has been buffed to help it since the removal of Skullpiercer, the Sentinel remains the strongest sniper in the game due to its damage capabilities.

Even without the shield cell charge up, which is very strong, the Sentinel performs well. Although it has a slow fire rate, it hits hard in the chest and especially the head.

Apart from the Kraber, the Sentinel has the greatest damage per bullet in the sniper category, usually dropping someone in 2 to 3 shots, and it’s even more efficient when it’s amped up with shield cells.

Best Marksman Rifle – G7 Scout

apex legends g7 scout

The G7 Scout has been one of the most consistently great weapons in Apex Legends since its launch. The weapon has received hardly any nerfs in recent seasons and is still an absolute beast at range.

With a consistent damage output and fire rate, hitting shots with this weapon feels great, especially when you’re hitting headshots. With a 3x or 2x-4x, the G7 Scout can really stand its ground against the other long-ranged weapons in the game, as well as being extremely strong at medium range and even in close combat when hip fired.

Although the Bocek Bow is still powerful, it doesn’t have the same versatility and consistency the G7 Scout possesses. Further, although the 30-30 is also in a much better spot than in Season 8, we still feel the G7 Scout is the most reliable weapon in the Marksmen class.

Best Shotgun – Eva-8

apex legends eva-8

Although it received some nerfs this season, the Eva-8 is still the best shotgun option in the game, mostly due to its high fire rate and ability to do a lot of damage in such a short space of time.

The Eva-8 can even rival SMG’s at close range, which the other shotguns definitely struggle with. Although the Peacekeeper is also a great option, we feel the Eva-8 is still the best shotgun in the game due to its consistent damage and fire rate.

Best Pistol – Wingman

wingman

This isn’t a tough decision, as the Wingman is only competing with the RE-45 and the P2020. However, the Wingman is still the hard-hitting powerhouse it has always been.

If you’re hitting your shots with this weapon, it’s extremely deadly and a great option as a secondary for anyone with a fast, rushing playstyle. Although it has a slight nerf with the removal of Skullpiercer, it’s still powerful and can still hold the Quickdraw Hop-up, allowing for a fast ADS.

There you have it, the tier list and best weapons in each class for Apex legends Season 9: Legacy.
