Whitley LMG in Warzone and Vanguard

Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 2 added the powerful Whitley LMG to Warzone & Vanguard, and even though it’s been removed from the Battle Pass, you can still get your hands on it.

Call of Duty: Warzone has over 150 weapons, and the arsenal got even bigger with Vanguard Season 2. The new Whitley LMG arrived alongside the KG M40 Assault Rifle, Ice Axe melee weapon, and Armaguerra SMG.

With Warzone Season 3 now live, the Whitley LMG has been removed from the Season 3 Battle Pass, which is how players were able to unlock it last season. Thankfully, you haven’t missed your chance to grab it if you haven’t yet, as you can now complete a challenge to get your hands on this “heavy long-range machine gun.”

How to unlock the Whitley in Vanguard & Warzone

If you want to get your hands on the Whitley LMG in Warzone & Vanguard Season 3, you’ll need to destroy three killstreaks with an LMG in a single match 15 times.

This does sound like quite an annoying challenge, but your safest bet is using it to shoot down Spy Planes or to take down Attack Dogs.

The Whitley has been described as another “strong mid-to long-range tool across all three game modes.” The devs described it as “highly customizable, and even in its base form provides a niche role with the best damage per shot compared to its four Vanguard competitors.”

Warzone Vanguard Season 2 roadmap

It’s been a decent option Warzone and Vanguard multiplayer, but it never quite dethroned the Bren.

There were plenty of weapon buffs and nerfs in Warzone’s Season 3 update, so perhaps we’ll see changes in the most popular weapons list.
