Major Warzone Ghost glitch breaks popular Perk

Players are reporting that a glitch with the Ghost Perk in Warzone Season 6 is causing major problems in the game.

Ghost is one of Warzone’s most popular Perks, thanks to its ability to hide the player from enemy UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors. But a “game-breaking” Season 6 glitch is causing the Perks effect to stop working, leaving unsuspecting players exposed.

With Call of Duty: Vanguard so close to its worldwide releases, many fans are jumping into Warzone Season 6 for Verdansk’s final chapter.

Season 6 has brought plenty of Halloween-themed content to the battle royale with The Haunting event, from the new Ghost of War skin to an entire batch of new challenges.

However, with all the spooky additions, the Ghost Perk has also been broken by a “major” glitch.

Warzone Season 6 Mason

CoD YouTuber Immortal explained the new Ghost glitch in a recent upload to his channel.

Ghost is supposed to stop players from showing up on enemy UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors, allowing them to stay hidden.

The bug appears to be making the effectiveness of the Perk with UAVs extremely inconsistent, with users being obscured one moment and revealed the next.

Equipment like UAVs ping every few seconds, revealing nearby enemies with each one. Immortal notes that as it stands, some pings will randomly reveal an enemy’s position, then the next will see them vanish again.

The glitch, which he describes as “pretty game-breaking,” is leaving squads players unsure of whether or not a rival team is aware of their presence or not.

Immortal also mentions that it is an issue for players using a UAV, as it’s impossible to track enemy movements if they are constantly appearing and disappearing from the map.

Ghost has been a divisive perk in Warzone for some time, but the way it is working at the moment is causing issues for every player.

Raven Software has confirmed they are aware of the issue and have a fix on the way, although they did not give a timeframe for how long it will take to implement.

It shouldn’t be too long before the developers release their fix for the Ghost Perk glitch and fans can trust they are being hidden 100% of the time.

As always, stay tuned on Charlie INTEL for all the latest Warzone updates.

best warzone bullfrog loadout season 3

Season 6 of Call of Duty: Warzone sees the Bullfrog shine with its best loadout class allowing players to dominate in close-range fights.

The Bullfrog has long been a powerful choice in Warzone, and its popularity has boosted in Season 6. It boasts a large magazine size, decent range, and an impressive headshot multiplier, putting it among the best SMG loadouts in Warzone.

If you would like to maximize the potential of this Black Ops Cold War SMG, best sure to use these attachments and perks to create the best Warzone Bullfrog loadout for Season 6 of the Call of Duty battle royale.

Best Warzone Bullfrog loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 7.4″ Task Force
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
  • Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip

Our Warzone loadout will focus on improving the Bullfrog’s movement speed so that you can eliminate your foes quickly. First, we’ll apply the GRU Suppressor to boost the damage range and hide you from enemy maps when firing.

You can combine this with the 7.4″ Task Force barrel to maximize the amount of damage that this SMG is capable of dealing. The KGB Skeletal Stock lets you move at greater speeds when aiming down the sights and strafing.

Finally, we’ll cap off this loadout by equipping the Tiger Team Spotlight and Bruiser Grip to greatly increase your movement, strafe speed, and hip-fire accuracy.

Best perks to use with Warzone Bullfrog class

  • Perk 1: E.O.D.
  • Perk 2: Overkill/Ghost
  • Perk 3: Combat Scout

E.O.D. will help you take less explosive damage from enemy explosives when using the best Warzone Bullfrog loadout, which will help you stay in the fight longer and can be the difference between losing or winning a gunfight.

We recommend starting a loadout with Overkill for our second perk and then using a second loadout to switch to a loadout with Ghost equipped.

This will give you two of your favorite weapons, with the bonus of the Ghost perk that will keep you from being detected by UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.

Combat Scout lets you mark any enemies that you hit so that your whole squad can spot them. You can then join your allies in taking the opponent down together.

Most recent Bullfrog buffs and nerfs

The best Warzone Bullfrog loadout underwent its most recent set of major changes in the September 23 update for Warzone Season 5. These changes nerfed the Bullfrog’s mobility by reducing the different movement speeds.

The Bullfrog (BOCW) is a true jack of all trades. It has great Mobility, Effective Damage Range, Handling, and base Magazine Capacity – which would often act as a free Attachment. These changes, in conjunction with a Recoil bug fix, will bring the Bullfrog (BOCW) much closer to the competition.

You find these changes in detail below:

  • ADS Speed decreased by 9%
  • Movement Speed decreased by 1%
  • ADS Movement Speed decreased by 2%

How to Unlock The Bullfrog

best warzone bullfrog loadout

The Bullfrog is a bit of a grind to unlock for this Warzone loadout, requiring players to reach Level 43 in either Black Ops Cold War or Warzone.

Double XP Events and Double XP Tokens should help you on your journey and will unlock the best attachments quicker.

Best Alternatives

If you are not feeling the best Warzone Bullfrog loadout, the MAC-10 and PPSH are both excellent alternatives that will have you dominating close-quarter battles.

Cold War & Warzone players claim Windows 11 & Overwolf cause permanent PC bans

Call of Duty players are reportedly getting permanently banned from Warzone and Cold War for using Windows 11 and Overwolf together.

Call of Duty PC players have reported that using a combination of Windows 11 and Overwolf software is getting them permanently banned from Warzone and Cold War, with no sign of the ban being lifted.

Call of Duty devs have been waging an ongoing war with hackers and cheaters, with one dev saying that they are “ruining some of the best work” of his life. Over 800,000 accounts have now been banned, but perhaps not all bans are fair.

Cold War and Warzone PC players are claiming that upgrading to Windows 11 and using it alongside Overwolf is causing them to be permanently banned.

GRAV in Call of Duty Warzone Season 6

Overwolf is a platform used to create and install in-game apps, such as ‘Outplayed’ which allows players to record their footage. However, this Overwolf app is reportedly causing permabans when used alongside Windows 11.

Reddit user WraithGG claimed they were permanently banned from Warzone “a few weeks ago” after attempting to open Cold War on an Insider Build of Windows 11, with Outplayed from Overwolf open. They said that this is a “well known and apparently rather common issue,” and both Activision and Overwolf are “refusing” to lift the ban or help.

“I have finally received a response from Activision telling me that despite being innocent, they cannot unban my account,” said WraithGG. “They have acknowledged the error in the ban, but are refusing to lift the ban as all bans are final.”

They claim to have also gone to Overwolf regarding the ban, but “Overwolf are also refusing to help, stating that they are not responsible.”

It appears that WraithGG isn’t alone, with Reddit user rks0707 saying that “I switched to 11 and bam! Got permabanned.” They also said that “Activision offer no solution for it.”

If this problem becomes more widespread, Activision may change their stance and unban players flagged for using Windows 11. This could be a similar story to Cold War Zombies players who were unfairly banned by the Sail 630 Nuclear Bug, and later had their accounts restored.

These reports have made some users worried about Vanguard’s upcoming kernel-level RICOCHET anti-cheat, which launches with its Warzone integration.
