The next set of Weekly Quests for Fortnite Season 6 have been revealed early, and one of them requires you to visit Ghost and Shadow ruins. Here’s where you can find them on the Island.
With the final major update for Fortnite Season 6 finally underway, there are new weekly challenges to complete in Week 11. These will help you progress through the Battle Pass before Season 7 goes live on June 7.
One of the Epic Quests requires you to visit the Fortnite Ghost and Shadow ruins on the Island. These were two factions that were introduced early on in Chapter 2, and here’s how you can visit the locations on the map.
Where to visit Ghost ruins in Fortnite Season 6
Both of these factions became harder to come across as the past few seasons progressed. They were replaced with the IO Guards and then nearly removed from Fortnite, but you can still find some of their old strongholds.
You can visit Ghost ruins at the Sharky Shell POI in the northwest corner of the Island. You’ll find the Ghost logo in the center of the area, so land there after jumping from the Battle Bus.
Once you’ve made it there, you’ll have completed the first part of the challenge. We’ve made things a bit easier by marking this location on the map below.
Where to find Shadow Ruins in Fortnite Season 6
The ruins of the Shadow base are more hidden, so you might face some difficulty in finding them. Make your way towards a small cove on the east coast of the map, right between Retail Row and Dirty Docks.
The entrance to the former Shadow base can be found at the Brutus’ Basin POI and is marked by a Ghost logo marked at the entrance. Once you visit it, you’ll have successfully completed this Epic Quest.
You can take a look at this location on the map below.
That covers everything you need to do in this Epic Quest. As always, there’s also a Legendary Quest to complete in Week 11, and that will require you to deal 7500 damage with the recently un-vaulted Dual Pistols.
With Fortnite Season 7 almost here, be sure to try out these weekly challenges along with the new Foreshadowing quests before Season 6 comes to an end.

How to get free Balenciaga Sprays in Fortnite
There are also some free Balenciaga Sprays you can unlock as part of their collaboration with Fortnite.
The Shady Doggo character will offer you two Quests, and you’ll get the free Sprays for completing them. These Quests are now live and will last until September 28.
To unlock the Fashion Doggo Spray and Knight Looks Spray, you’ll need to:
- Emote in front of Shady Doggo graffiti at Retail Row, Believer Beach, or Steamy Stacks (1)
- Collect Triple S sneakers in the Strange Times Featured Hub (40)
Once you’ve completed these two challenges, the Balenciaga Sprays will be in your inventory.
How to emote in front of Shady Doggo graffiti
- Load into Fortnite Battle Royale
- Land in or outside Retail Row
- Head to the wall at the back of the Noms Store
- Emote in front of the Shady Doggo spraypaint
As indicated by the challenge, you need to find Shady Doggo graffiti in either Retail Row, Believer Beach, or Steamy Stacks. Once you find it, you just need to do an emote and the challenge will be complete.
We recommend heading the back of the Noms store in Retail Row to quickly get this challenge done. You’ll see three Shady Doggos spraypainted on the wall, so simply dance in front of it, the Quest will be complete and you’ll get the Fashion Doggo Spray.
How to collect Triple S Sneakers
- Load into Fortnite Creative
- Search around the Strange Times Featured Hub for sneakers
- Approach 40 of them
- If you’re struggling, listen out for the hum they emit
Triple S sneakers can be found all over the Strange Times Featured Hub. Simply load into Creative, and you’ll find sneakers all over the area. You don’t need to interact with them, just step near and you’ll collect them.
There are tons of sneakers around so you won’t have any trouble completing this challenge. But if you only have a few left and you’re struggling, listen out for the humming sound that they emit.
Collect 40 sneakers and the Knight Looks Spray will be yours.

Fortnite Armored Walls: How to get & use the new Trap
Here’s how to get and use Fortnite Season 8’s latest addition, Armored Walls, which add a ton of HP to your structures.
Fortnite Season 8 has included a brand-new Trap item to the game, with Armored Walls making your structures much more powerful. Here’s how to find and use this new defensive item.
Following the news that Fortnite will be crossing over with designer fashion house Balenciaga, Epic Games has brought even more content with the September 21 hotfix. In this small update, they’ve announced a Fourth Birthday event, given players the chance to unvault an item, and added a new Trap.
The Armored Walls Trap covers builds in thick metal plating, giving “any building piece a whole bunch more HP.”
Here’s how to find and use this powerful new item.
How to get Armored Walls in Fortnite
Creating a safe area to hold down is one of the most important strategies to winning a game of Fortnite. Maintaining the high ground and having solid cover is ever-important and now your defense can now be even stronger thanks to the new Armored Walls Trap.
These Armored Walls have arrived in Fortnite Battle Royale matches with the September 21 update. In the accompanying announcement, Epic Games revealed that Armored Walls can be found in Supply Boxes and on the ground. So, it shouldn’t be too difficult to find them, you just need to loot around.
How to use Armored Walls in Fortnite
Armored Walls are Uncommon Traps, so will go into the Trap inventory slot. Like placing the old Damage Traps or Bouncers, you just need to approach one of your own structures with Armor Plates in your inventory and press your Trap keybind, e.g T.
The wall will now become a thick metal structure with 2,500 HP, so the enemies will have an extremely hard time breaking through. However, it works both ways, so be careful you don’t box yourself in!
Here’s a quick summary:
- Build or approach one of your walls in Fortnite
- Have the Armored Walls trap at the ready
- Press your Trap button to apply it to the surface
And that’s how you can find and use Armored Walls in Fortnite Season 8! For more guides, check out how to level up the Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass fast.
