This season of Destiny 2 is drawing to a close, and Bungie is set to reveal Chapter 15 in a showcase event on August 24. Here’s how you can watch it.

Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer has gone down well among the community, despite some early calls for changes to the Season Activity grind. The constant rollout of new challenges and features like Valor Ranks has been keeping players in the loop since May.

But after already teasing major changes to abilities, Bungie is gearing up to reveal Season 15 of the popular looter shooter in a matter of days. We’ve got everything you need to know about how to watch the Destiny 2 showcase event right here.

When is the Destiny 2 Season 15 Showcase Event?

Bungie revealed recently it would be giving fans their first look at Season 15 on August 24 at 9 AM PDT / 12 PM EDT / 5 PM BST, with a pre-show taking place an hour before. This also happens to coincide with the scheduled end of Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer.

Given that the two are due to take place on the same day, it’s safe to assume we won’t have to wait long before getting stuck into Season 15, as there’s a good chance the new era will kick off shortly after the reveal event.

How you can watch the Destiny 2 Showcase Event

The Season 15 reveal will be available to stream for free on Bungie’s official Twitch channel, with fans been given the option to sign up to their website now to receive updates in the coming days.

For an event of this size, it’s also likely that many other content creators will be live streaming and reacting to all the announcements. Be sure to check out your favorite creators’ channel when the event kicks off.

There is no news yet as to whether it will also be airing on Bungie’s YouTube channel.

What should fans expect from the Season 15 reveal?

We’re expecting this stream to be a deep dive into everything new with Season 15, from the roadmap of content to the smaller tweaks being made to the core game. It’s also fair to say we’ll get a good look at the story our Guardians will be thrown into for the next few months.

Leaks have already given us a glimpse at some of the possible new additions. DestinyTracker on Twitter shared images of two new Iron Banner weapons, the Forge’s Pledge Rifle and the Peacebond Sidearm, as well as an armor set called Iron Forerunner.

We’ll keep you updated with everything revealed at the Destiny 2 Showcase Event. But while you’re waiting for Season 15, check out the best god roll perks for Riisewalker in PVE and PVP.
