Infinity Ward posted a statement to Twitter updating fans on their latest policy on cheating. Warzone has seen a dramatic increase in cheaters recently. And fans are waiting for an update from the studio.

PC players are frustrated with the increase in cheaters taking over Warzone and Modern Warfare MP matches.

With this in mind, the studio confirms ‘more ban waves are coming.’ The image statement states players that modify the game to add third party apps will be banned.

Apps that cannot be identified will also result in a ban.

The company’s full statement can be read in its entirety below:

Infinity Ward warns users against installing any software that could result in a ban. As noted previously, Activision states all bans are final unless significant evidence can showcase otherwise.

Fans are still waiting for a timeline for when to expect these bans in Warzone.

Content creators voiced their concern in tweets and YouTube videos about cheaters ruining the experience. This causes players to stop playing games, which is not something Infinity Ward wants.
