Fix for slide canceling bug in Modern Warfare in testing – Update

UPDATE – January 21: Infinity Ward has updated the Trello board for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and it now notes that the fix for Player Slide Cancel bug requires “more testing” and that the “release date is TBD.”

The next patch update for Modern Warfare is set for January 22, and many thought the slide cancel issue will be fixed with this update as the original note on the Trello board said Fixed in a Future Release. Now, this will not be fixed this week.

Infinity Ward has launched a new Trello board today detailing just some of what they’re aware of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The board features a small look at the bugs and issues the studio is looking into and aware of as 2020 continues to progress. The studio has also labeled that the fix slide cancel bug, which has been a hot topic in the esports community, will be fixed in the next update.

The Trello Board gives a look at MP issues, Special Ops issues, PC issues, and more the studio is tracking and working to resolve.

Infinity Ward released their first ever Community Update on their site showcasing a preview of what’s coming to Modern Warfare soon.
