Is Fortnite dying

Fortnite has been one of the most popular video games ever, but is Fortnite dying? We’ve got all the statistics you need, including the 2021 Fortnite player count.

When Fortnite Battle Royale launched in September 2018, few could have imagined that it would dominate pop culture in the manner it has since then. From musicians like Marshmello and Ariana Grande to athletes like LeBron James, Epic Game’s free-to-play title has dominated gaming for almost three years.

Of course, it’s not just the stars that have flocked to Fortnite. The game’s free-to-play status meant that anyone could download, jump in, and play with their friends, and millions of gamers around the world have done just that over the years.

How many people have played Fortnite, though, and how many are actively playing in 2021. We’ve got all the information you need to know what the Fortnite player count is and if Fortnite is dying or not.

Is Fortnite dying?

Unfortunately, Epic Games don’t keep track of how many players are actively playing the game at any one moment. Thankfully, there are some statistics that we can use to estimate the current Fortnite player count.

Using PlayerCounter, we can see that anywhere from 6 – 12 million people are playing Fortnite daily. This number increases on special occasions, like in-game events or new seasons, driving the number closer to 15 million players.

With this information, it is tough to say that Fortnite is dying, as it still has a considerable playerbase who enjoy everything the game offers.

Fortnite player count

Now, Epic Games does not regularly provide live updates regarding how many people have played or are currently playing. Still, there are some benchmarks that the game has reached since 2018 that give the community an idea of how large the Fortnite player count is present.

August of 2018 saw a Fortnite player count of 78,000,000, which is not surprising, as this was during the height of popularity during the game’s rise into stardom.

2019 saw a concurrent player count of 12,500,000 in the game, and 2020 saw a record-high number of people playing when 15,300,000 came together to experience the Galactus event.

2020 also saw Epic Games report that Fortnite had 350 million registered accounts. However, one player can create multiple accounts, so registered accounts do not exactly mean 350,000,000 players. A year later, that number has likely increased and could even be close to 400 million total accounts and would mean Fortnite is far from dying anytime soon.

Ariana Grande has arrived in Fortnite as an NPC and for her Fortnitemares Punchcard Quests, you’ll need to launch Signal Flares. Here’s how you can get this done quickly.

Fortnite’s Halloween update has brought some new content to the Fortnitemares event. This includes some brand-new Punchcards that have brought Ariana Grande back as an NPC on Fortnite Island.

For one of her Quests, you’ll need to launch a few Signal Flares to contact other hunters. These can be found in different areas across the map, and you’ll need to visit them to complete the Quest.

This guide will go over all the locations that you can visit to get this done.

Fortnite Signal Flare locations

You can find Signal Flares in a total of 4 locations on Fortnite Island. They resemble large brightly colored fireworks with dynamite on the side, so they’re fairly hard to miss if you’re in their vicinity.

Here are all the Signal Flare locations in Fortnite:

  • Shattered Saucer
  • East of Primal Pond
  • South west of Dirty Docks
  • West of FN Radio

For this quest, you only need to visit three of these locations, so head over there and interact with the Signal Flares to launch them. This will help you get in contact with the hunters.

Once you’ve launched 3 Signal Flares, you’ll be rewarded with 30,000 XP and this Quest will be marked as complete. You can also complete other Ariana Grande Punchcard Quests for some more XP.

One of these tasks you with revealing the Command Symbol, and we’ve got an in-depth guide for that too. Completing more Punchard Quests will help you level up faster, so be sure to try it out.

However, you need to watch out for other players who might also be in the area to complete the Punchcard Quests before you do. Make sure you’ve got some solid weapons and gear to defend yourself.

Fortnite has welcomed a brand new Ariana Grande Spacefarer skin and bundle into the game. Here’s everything you need to know about the new bundle, including how to get it, the price, and the contents.

Flashy skins, bundles, and cosmetics have become a massive staple of the Fortnite experience, and Ariana Grande has been a recent beneficiary of Epic Games’ attitude towards celebrity skins.

Ariana Grande has had multiple tie-ins to Fortnite with a special Ariana Grande ICON Series skin and also a live event concert. She’s now set for another partnership with Fortnite as a Fortnite Ariana Grande Spacefarer bundle has arrived.

Here’s everything we know about the new celebrity bundle.

How to buy the Ariana Grande Spacefarer bundle

Fortnite’s Spacefarer Ariana Grande bundle arrived in the Item Shop on October 21, bringing the new skin and its associated cosmetics.

The Fortnite Spacefarer Ariana Grande bundle also marks the return of the classic Ariana Grande skin, which originally arrived as part of the Rift Tour event.

Ariana Grande Spacefarer bundle contents & price

Ariana Grande’s Spacefarer bundle sells for 2,500 V-Bucks, which is slightly cheaper than the 2,800 V-Bucks for the original Ariana Grande bundle.

The Spacefarer Ariana Grande skin comes with a transformation emote, changing the skin into the alien-themed Starfire Ariana Grande. Players can readily switch between the two styles by using the Just Keep Breathin’ Emote.

Of course, you can buy each item from the Spacefarer bundle, such as the Pickaxe and Backbling, separately.

Here’s each item from the bundle and their individual prices:

  • Spacefarer Ariana Grande skin, I.R.I.S Backbling, and Just Keep Breathin’ Emote – 2,000 V-Bucks
  • Spacefarer Lightscythe Pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
  • I.R.I.S Daydream Glider – 1,200 V-Bucks
  • Spooky Smallz Backbling – 400 V-Bucks

Buying the bundle as a whole will save you 1,500 V-Bucks, so will be worth it if you’re a big Ariana Grande fan.

When will Naruto come to Fortnite? New skin release date

A Naruto skin is seemingly on its way to Fortnite, and here’s everything we know about when it will arrive in the game.

Published

There’s wide speculation about the arrival of popular anime character Naruto as a new skin in Fortnite, and here’s everything we know about this, including the skin’s possible release date.

Fortnite has become known for its major crossovers with other franchises, as heroes like Gamora and Superman have joined other characters in the battle royale during Season 7.

More crossover skins were uncovered by data miners from a survey by Epic Games. While one of these was part of a hoax, there are still many other interesting ones that might be coming soon, including a Naruto skin.

Fortnite Naruto skin release date

Some of the crossover skins teased in the survey have arrived in the game, like Lebron James and Ariana Grande. According to Fortnite leaker Shiina, Epic wants Naruto to be included in Season 8.

Now, we seem to be one step closer to confirming the arrival of Naruto after Twitch streamer candywingx appeared to confirm the arrival of the skin.

The player recently retweeted a real-life meeting with Chief Creative Officer at Epic Games Donald Mustard, and it was hinted that they had been discussing the future of Fortnite.

If the anime protagonist arrives as part of the next Battle Pass in Fortnite Season 8, then we’ll likely see him added to the game on September 18, 2021. If the skin isn’t ready by then, it may appear in the Item Store at a later date.

We might also see the arrival of other characters from the Naruto universe, like Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi.

If Naruto arrives in Fortnite, the player base may significantly increase, since the anime has a huge fandom that’s spread out across the globe. It may even open the door to other anime crossovers like Dragon Ball.

Season 6 of the influential battle royale game also featured a few generic anime skins, but this would be a huge step up. Hopefully, Epic Games will give us some confirmation on the Naruto skin’s arrival.
