Arguably the most anticipated game in the world right now is the unannounced GTA 6. But a big leak suggests that its delay could be due to a supposed GTA Remaster Trilogy that Rockstar is working on.
There seems to be a new GTA VI rumor each week that points towards a possible reveal for Rockstar’s next open-world extravaganza. We’ve recently covered several stories of this nature including a Rockstar employee having “unannounced titles” on their LinkedIn profile and a possible GTA 6 Super Bowl 55 reveal.
Now some new evidence is suggesting that it’s not only GTA 6 that is in the works. In addition to the next gigantic entry in the acclaimed GTA series, we could also be seeing a reimaging of the three main games from the PS2 era.
GTA 3, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas
The three games that cemented Rockstar’s legacy are all getting the proper remaster treatment if a post on the GTA Forums is to be believed.
Mach1bud is a staff member of the forum and posted the message “Soon” which naturally piqued the interest of many of the members of the forum.
But the intrigue escalated very quickly when this message was posted, “Oh I know very well what forum I should be in and I know that you know that if I were to post these in those forums everyone would begin to know what we know. I’ve wanted this to happen for many years now and I’m glad it’s happening sooner rather than later.”
Naturally, the alarm bells started ringing and the message board became rife with rumors. This quote is also further supported by a tweet from @uNiGTANet – an Admin for GTA Forums – who posted a picture of three custom-made Shark Cards.
With closer inspection, you can see that the card numbers contain “2001” “2002” “2004” “2013” and “B46”. The first three numbers represent GTA 3, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas. 2013 is the year that GTA 5 came out, and the final three characters can be read out as “before 6” – as in GTA 6.
If it was anyone else who has posted this information then it may be misconstrued as mere fan speculation. But given that it’s coming from admins on the GTA Forums, then it does make you wonder.
If we do get GTA Remasters, will they come out before GTA 6?

Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris rewards: January 14
The Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris rewards are out for the week of January 14. Use our quick and easy guide to see what items can be redeemed.
Players who love to battle it out in competitive PvP action to earn Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris rewards can now see what the week of January 14 has to offer.
Destiny 2‘s Trial of Osiris has become a staple of Bungie’s sci-fi shooter, thanks to its heated action, and the rewards for January 14 are now available to see.
One of the most popular game modes that the first-person shooter offers is, no doubt, Trials of Osiris, which is the game’s competitive multiplayer playlist that allows Guardians to test their skills against other players.
One of the exciting factors of this game mode, besides proving your skills, is the new set of rewards that players can earn with their success every week. Here is the newest set of Trials of Osiris rewards in Destiny 2.
What are the Trials of Osiris rewards for January 14 in Destiny 2?
The Trials of Osiris is an end-game Crucible event that resets its rewards and map every Friday at 9 AM PST / 1 PM EST / 6 PM GMT. The more reputation you can earn in Bungie’s Trials of Osiris, the better quality of rewards you will receive in Destiny 2.
The map that players fight on changes each week, but for this week, the Iron Banner Crucible event is on, meaning the Trials of Osiris will be back with more rewards and a new map on January 21.
Here is the complete list of Trials of Osiris rewards for the previous week:
- Reputation Rank 4: Upgrade Module (2)
- Reputation Rank 7: Enhancement Prism (3)
- Reputation Rank 10: Eye of Sol (Kinetic Sniper Rifle) – The Messenger (Kinetic Pulse Rifle)
- Reputation Rank 13: Upgrade Module (2)
- Reputation Rank 16: Igneous Hammer (Solar Hand Cannon) – Sola’s Scar (Solar Sword)
- Flawless Reward: Eye of Sol (Legendary Sniper Rifle) (Adept)
To earn the Flawless Reward, players will need to win seven Trials of Osiris matches without losing a single game.
It’s a tough feat, no doubt, but it’s doable with enough skill, patience, and understanding of the game’s mechanics.
- Passage of Ferocity – Your third match win grants a bonus win. (10000 Glimmer & 15 Legendary Shards)
- Passage of Mercy – Forgives one loss per run. (10000 Glimmer & 15 Legendary Shards)
- Passage of Wealth – Increased Trials Rank points from reaching 3, 5, and 7 match wins on a ticket. (15000 Glimmer & 25 Legendary Shards)
- Passage of Confidence – Grants bonus rewards from Flawless Chest. (20000 Glimmer & 50 Legendary Shards)
Hopefully, this week’s Trials of Osiris rewards are worth you going after and can be used to make your overall Destiny 2 experience more fruitful and enjoyable!

When will Apex Legends next-gen PS5 & Xbox Series X/S versions release?
Apex Legends has been out for a while, and players are yet to see a next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X version of the game, so far how off is it?
Apex Legends continues to do extremely well and is constantly growing, yet the absence of a complete version for next-generation consoles is a mystery. So when will we be seeing an upgraded version of the free-to-play battle royale on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S?
With the launch of Apex Legends Season 11, Respawn’s incredible battle royale FPS continues to be a trendsetter within the industry. For nearly 3 years players have battled each other using a variety of weird and wonderful characters – with the most recent one being Season 11’s Ash.
But despite its ever-growing success and popularity, and the fact it’s been on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S for a year now, fans of the game still have to contend with a backward-compatible version of the game.
So when exactly can we look forward to a fully upgraded version of Apex Legends for the newest generation of consoles?
- Apex Legends PS5 and Xbox Series X/S release date
- How big is Apex Legends on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S?
- Current Apex Legends PS5 and Xbox Series X/S features
When can we expect the next-gen version of Apex Legends?
As of January 14, 2022, there has still been no official word from Respawn Entertainment regarding its update. However, a new leak has sprung hope for fans and players as it could actually be released very soon.
Renowned leaker Shrugtal has discovered files from a recent Apex Legends update that has hinted at the possibility of an imminent update.
The fact that the files now exist in the game is a very promising sign that the devs have got the build for the newer consoles ready.
With Ray Tracing, Adaptive Triggers, 3D Audio, 120 FPS, and a variety of other features possible thanks to PS5 and Xbox, Apex Legends players might finally be able to benefit from the power of new hardware.
How big are the next-gen versions of Apex Legends?
In the latest leaks for Apex Legends’ next-gen versions, according to PlayStation Game Size, the PS5 version of Apex Legends will be “+80 GB (Without Update).” If this information is true, perhaps the next-gen versions will be out sooner than we think, perhaps even when Season 12 is released.
This is very reasonable considering all the improvements the upgrade is promising. Also, this is just the PS5, but considering the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Apex Legends are both nearing the 60-70 GB mark, we expect the next-gen versions to also be fairly close.
What features does Apex Legends have now on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S?
Currently, players with a next-gen console can enjoy the last-gen versions of the game, with minor frame rate increase/stability in 1440p. Players with next-gen consoles can of course also experience the same crossplay capabilities as the previous generation, allowing them to play with all platforms.
However, without a truly optimized version of Apex Legends, we are yet to see the real graphical and performance potentially Apex Legends can provide on next-gen consoles.
120 FPS / 120 Hz
The PS5 and Xbox Series X both have hardware capable of 4K gaming at 120Hz video output. This ultimately allows next-gen consoles to start competing with PC gaming which, depending on the hardware, can run Apex Legends at an even higher frame rate of over 144Hz at 4K resolution.
PS5 DualSense, Haptic Feedback & 3D Audio
Perhaps some of these enhancements we will be seeing could include optimizing Apex Legends for the PS5’s DualSense, which takes advantage of the haptic feedback the next-gen console introduced.

Further, maybe Apex Legends will optimize its audio for PlayStation’s 3D audio function, which would greatly increase the dimension and quality of sound in the game. However these enhancements for next-gen consoles will come, there’s no doubt they will receive a warm welcome from the community.
A pretty straightforward aspect of next-gen, but an important one nonetheless, is the fact that modern hardware can almost eliminate loading times.
A huge selling point of the PS5 and Xbox Series X is their ability to process information, backgrounds, and everything else required in seconds. Apex Legends matches will be able to move along seamlessly and also allow players to jump into matches almost immediately too.
For those looking for even more improvements, hopefully, Respawn will officially announce something soon for release in 2022. For more news and guides on Apex Legends, check out our complete ranking of every Apex Legend.
