Is Rust cross-platform? PC, Xbox, PS5 cross-play status
Rust is one of Steam’s most popular titles, here’s everything you need to know about its crossplay status on PC, Xbox & PlayStation.

Multiplayer survival game Rust has been one of Steam’s most popular games since its release in 2018, but does the game have cross-platform play? Here’s everything you need to know about Rust cross-play on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
If spawning into a barren world with nothing but a rock and attempting to survive and thrive sounds like your kind of thing, then Rust is the perfect game for you. Filled with players who want to kill you, radiation that will damage you, and AIs who would love to shoot you, Facepunch Studios’ survival title isn’t for the faint of heart.
Something that confuses many players though is whether they are always facing enemies on the same gaming system. Thankfully, we’ve got all the answers about Rust’s current cross-play status, whether you’re on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation.

Is Rust cross-platform in 2021?
Yes, Rust does have cross-platform play, but only available on consoles. That means if you’re playing on a Sony console, like the PS4 or PS5, you can jump into games with friends on Xbox One or Xbox Series X to play and chat.
Unfortunately, cross-play is not available with those on PC, who will be confined to battling against those who also use computers to enjoy the game.

While this might be frustrating, it’s probably for the best as mouse and keyboard players would have a significant advantage over those with controllers.

Will Rust get cross-play on PC?
As it stands, Facepunch Studios have not announced any plans to join PC and console lobbies, and likely won’t for a variety of reasons.
As mentioned above, players who use a keyboard and mouse would have a significant advantage over their controller opponents, in terms of both building and combat.
On top of that, Rust Console Edition has been following its own development roadmap since its May 2021 release, as the devs work to improve the experience while gradually introducing new features.
For many, Rust’s sandbox survival antics make it the perfect game to sink hours into, with the ability to construct houses and bases, build weapons, and eventually do battle with other players in your server. Now, you’ll always know who is in your server, and whether you can play with your friends.

He isn’t a game-changing CB by any means but he’s a solid option with tons of pace and excellent ball-moving ability at the back. In addition, you don’t need to submit a TOTS card as an SBC requirement, which is a major benefit.

After they two fought tooth and nail for all three domestic trophies last season, we’re expecting Manchester City and Liverpool to dominate the ratings in FIFA 23.
After winning Premier League Player of the Season, Kevin De Bruyne will likely keep his lofty 91 rating, sharing the top spot with Cristiano Ronaldo, who also enjoyed a great individual season in a struggling United team.
We’ve listed Erling Haaland as one of the highest climbers, who should receive a large bump after his high-profile move to City. Trent Alexander-Arnold is also expected to be rewarded after his best season to date, managing 12 assists from right back.
Heung Min-Son also registered his most prolific year in the Premier League so far, finishing as the joint-top goalscorer. This should be enough to see him move up a rating and join the coveted 90 club.

Apex Legends Mobile leak claims Solos mode arrives before PC & console
Apex Legends players have been calling for a Solos mode for many seasons, but according to leaks mobile players could be getting it first.

Apex Legends Mobile leaks are suggesting that the handheld version of the battle royale will be getting a Solos mode before PC and Console.
Apex Legends offers players a variety of ways to play the battle royale. Those who like to enjoy casual games can hop into public games, while those who like a challenge can indulge in the Ranked Leagues.
There’s also the Arenas mode and various LTMs ever so often with the Awakening Collection Event for Season 13 bringing the return of Control.
Having said that, Apex Legends players have been wanting a Solos mode ever since the Iron Crown Event back in Season 2, however, it seems mobile will be getting it first.

Back in Apex Legends Season 2, players were given the Iron Crown Event, which saw a Solo LTM introduced into the game. Ever since it was removed, it has yet to return.
This has left Apex players wanting a Solos mode for over ten seasons, and according to leaks, Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 could be getting the highly requested mode first.
Apex Legends dataminer ThatOneGamingBot discovered some interesting icons in the Apex Legends Mobile files, suggesting that Solos will be introduced.
This of course caused disappointing reactions from the community, who have been hoping that the mode would be introduced on consoles and PC as well. Thordan Smash sarcastically commented “Nice that Apex Legends is finally getting Solo Mode…for mobile,” along with a sad face emoji.
Having said that, the dataminer did reply to Thordan’s reaction, stating that the Solos mode from Apex Mobile is “probably an LTM.” While this could be true, Thordan Smash replied again saying that he’d “gladly take solos as an LTM again” on consoles and PC.
We’ll have to wait and see how this leaked Solos mode will be introduced on Apex Legends Mobile. It does seem that the handheld version of the battle royale is getting more and more exclusive content, especially as the second mobile-exclusive Legend was also leaked for Season 2.
