Infinite Warfare Multiplayer to be revealed on Sept. 2nd at the Call of Duty XP event

Activision has confirmed the official reveal of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer mode will take place during the Call of Duty XP 2016 event on September 2nd.

Thus far, Activision has provided minimal details about Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer other than the fact that it will feature an “evolution” of Call of Duty’s movement system, and possibly the “chain-based movement system.”

With this being announced, Infinity Ward will only be showing the gameplay reveal of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s campaign mode at E3. The gameplay reveal of the campaign is expected to be shown during PlayStation’s E3 conference on June 13 at 6PM PT.

Infinite Warfare will NOT have a theater mode

While speaking with Infinity Ward’s Multiplayer project director Jordan Hirsch at Call of Duty XP, he confirmed that Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer will NOT have a theater mode. Last year’s Black Ops 3 brought back theater mode however Advanced Warfare and IW’s last game Ghosts did not.

Infinite Warfare MP to include “Classic” guns from past Call of Duty games

Infinity Ward has just revealed that Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer will include “classic” guns from past Call of Duty games. Classic weapons will be its own weapon class along side the traditional assault rifle class, SMG class, etc..

While speaking with Infinity Ward’s Multiplayer project director Jordan Hirsch at Call of Duty XP, he confirmed that classic weapons will be the only class to NOT include any variants.
